Few minor things to do, might get the wheels refurbed as well then its time to sell for the start of a house deposit

Looks very nice fella.

What have you had to do to bring it back to standard fare?

When i brought it, it looked like this

Image

aside from the pics, it also had cream leather, there was switchs missing from the interior, the knee roll was in a state, so was the center console etc...

I've changed the ride height back to standard, fitted the BBS rims, Replaced the hood, fitted new center console, replaced most of the switchs so they are all now working, new glove box, also replaced all broken clips etc..

Have got a new knee roll, replaced alot of engine parts for re-con parts (water pump, alternator, startor motor, also replaced the steering rack)

Given it hundreds of oil changes, and made sure it no longer leeks by fitting a decent sump with new washer and plug.

Got hold of the orginal design interior..

Want to get it looking stock but mint, so next is

new gear knob, new steering wheel (both M-Tech) get the seats repaired, fog lights, fog light switch, new rear view mirror, get the hood motor working, replace the rear lenses, get the orginal aerial back in repalcing the bee sting one, plus a few other small touches, like polishing the engine bay etc and re-conditioning the wheels

PS sorry for the spelling, posting this off my blackberry and its taken forever to type lol

Wow!

Most people would have just bought a standard one... but you've put LOADS of effort into making it into a minter. Well done.

You manage to sell the wheels and clear indicators and stuff okay?

Looking very nice now.

Technically No, but as its not after market, i don't see anything wrong with a little Retro fit winkeye

Maybe a let M-Tech gearknob out of an E46 and a set of heated wing mirror glass too :P

my design cab did not have abs fitted as standard did either of yours have it ....the fog lights were a tick the box option but i believe the half leather never came from the factory it was added later i posted this before but when i had some trimming work done at b trim in enfield they said that they had a contract with hexagon bmw to retrim a batch of 12-15 of the last design cabs from the factory with half leather as a special run ...the interior is still available from bmw to repair it but not available with half leather ...its also said that they were sometimes repaired in the leather to hide what was underneath

It looks beautiful with the Alp Reps thats what i am after at the moment for my cab, at present i am rolling on E36 M3 wheels 17s on a 40mm drop. But i want the Old skool with a set of Alpinas.

How much did u get them for mate and where did u get them from?
