I think it looks good as it is.Just need an M30 airbox on there and maybe try and tidy the seats up or get some new ones.
the exhaust would look ok if it was straightened up a bit.

ajm-e30 took about 12 days work spread over a month or so!

buster, exhaust has been on and off so many times, just chucked it on at the last go,getting binned soon anyway.
M30 airbox is in my shed waiting, just got to pull my finger out and fit it.
Seats are pretty good apart from the drivers bolster, seen much worse if im honest and for £30 winkeye

maxfield as above mate

ChizFab now thats a good idea, might look into getting a set and maybe smoke the fogs too?

jonb its Tony but you can call me what you want  Do the plates look that bad from an `outsiders point of view`?

Dan318-is sold the wheels a few weeks ago mate, got pissed of with seeing the never ending kerb damage and bought 4 tyres only for the misses to drive on a flat 4 days later shredding one of them  enougth was enougth, but got a top price for the though!

Love that, not my usual sort of e30 taste, but that looks great.

Black grill and lights look so mean.

First picture is great, 'real E30' look. Nice work eko.

plates look a little chavtastic for my liking mate (says me with my silly wheels etc.), a nice set of pressed german plates would be a good touch.

Apart from that it looks awesome, a real credit to you.

I reckon it looks real nice, but the plates are a bit pikey!

Slightly off topic but is that a sub you can just see in the boot, and is it just mounted on a board firing through the ski hatch?

Tony i thought you were mad breaking up the IS, but i can see why. Looks a true beauty, so much rightness with the engine to match. I bet you are enjoying that massively, if only the haynes track was as cheap as it was last time, you could have a right laugh with that.

Good work

Yes it is!
Mounted on a piece of 18mm MDF,not ideal but no room for a box,got to fit a pram in there :)

Jon_Bmw,thanks mate-6 cylinders and 24 valves is so much more rewarding winkeye

Looking good mate :D

As said, get the M30 airbox done

You should take advantage of having the battery in the boot and fit the M3 bulkhead cover, will hide those horrible relays and loom sticking out of the 318 covers.
Whats that youve got the ECU in at the mo? Im sure if you move the battery terminal/post it will go behind the M3 cover with the relays 8)

Youve got a nice battery terminal on the E34 remember

Whats this M3 cover like then?Price?
Using the ECU`s cover from the E34,cut down to fit to cover mine up,only a temp job untill something more suited turns up!

Yes they are 15`s.
Not sure how the cupkit would sit but these springs and shocks seem to go well together, not to hard or soft and handles well too :)

Dave its not an ECU cover,it goes on the bulkhead behind the original battery location!

My plan is to swap the E30 battery terminal block for the flatter version from an E34,leave it mounted in the same place but put the cover over the top of that and the relays.
Should tidy that area up a bit more, then ill carry on with an ECU cover!

PS-already got mine.Picked it up from Westerley last week, cost about £13 inc VAT,2 day order :)
