No idea what all that means but i hope this renovation involves destroying those nasty bumpers and that fake M3 spoiler.

As far as the colour goes - i like the original colour but silver metalic sounds pertty nice.

Just my opinion tho - its your car and your money so do whatever makes you happy :D

Good luck with the project buddy

'bout the fake M3 spoiler  i kno its not a real one, bu the hood on a M3 is completely different so it won't fit and still cost 300e, this one costed me 70e :D
and i'm puttin on the 'non painted' bumpers, i prefer those one's, and for the color silver sounds best :D
but i'm goin to work on the bumpers, te rear and front bumper or still under contruction, don't want to have a 'put-on-tuning' car, prefer to make my own style and have a unique car, bu i've to spread my wings first before i can do anything else caus 17" is to big :s:s i'm also lowered -40mm

lol, i know the original M3 spoiler wont fit and your right that style spoiler does look good on the e30.

Cant say im a fan of the rounded bumpers - i think the car is too square.

Im always ready to be proved wrong tho mate - looking forward to seeing some pics of the finished car :D

good work. i think the bumpers are a little too much too - but it's amzing how they'll look a lot better when the same colour as the rest of the body. please please please lose the chrome.... what's the interior plans and current situation?

 i think i'm goin to keep the chroom around my windows,

the bumpers look big, bu that's caus i've put them over my original one, the'll be smaller when good fitted, i'm goin to put a chroom gril in the bumpers and the bmw sign, but the same gril like the 'R' versions of jaguar, I work at jaguar and the first day i saw tha kind of gril    i'll keep you'll uptodated :)

the ideas for interior are alreaddy readdy, black leather seat at the back and 2 leather sportseats at the front interior wil also be repainted

There just like my dads wheels they look real nice.

Bumpers aren't to my taste but if you like them its all that matters your car.

Translation : YES another Belgian member..I taught i was the only one..Nice car except i'm not such a fan of the Belgian tuning scene with extreme bumperkits etc but if he nicely fits it into one piece it'll be fine 8)

Just out of juriosity ( i know it killed the cat ) but why r u trying to make the car look faster than it is. People will want to race you and ur gonna look a tad stupid when nearly all the cars on the road will eat u up and spit out the nuts.

i had 2 craches, but i was in my right, so with the ansurance money i bought the bumpers, i wasn't goin to put bumpers and ev'tin on  bu now they almost came free :D it 'looks fast' bu i'll never forget i've got a 316, i'm not tha kind of people tha put the M-sign everywhere, i just makes it look good, i cnat drive fast on this f*ckin belgian roads anyway

cheers

Im not really a fan of bodykits either but it should look quite good when done. Although i think a more subtel back bumper would be better.

I do like this one and its the same kit if im not mistaken:

just my own opinion of course, butg that bumper is possibly the biggest pile of wank since that Gordons kit that we all saw about a year ago. any1 remember that?

a 'lawnmower' engined 316i will leave a great many cars behind and can be a real challenge to drive fast - they're all about conservation of mometum.

speed is as much about driver talent and ability as it is about cubic capacity, that's why motorsport can be so compelling. i'll get my 316i round a series of bends quicker than any 325i because the 4 pots handle better - so what is fast? anything's only fast for a given set of conditions.

nobody buys an m40 316i for it's pace, instead they're about cheap purchasing, cheap insurance, good fuel mileage and the ultimate challenge of keeping the tappets quiet.

so why not make a 316i look good/fast? it's only as daft as making a 325i look fast rather than buying something faster.

after all, by todays standards the e30 325i is not a fast car.

Hehe, and your entitled to your opinion. Im would never put a kit on my e30 but as kits go i think that front bumper isn't that bad.

Yep, i remember it. The autofashion gordons kit. Disgusting pile of crap that it was. yuk!

trans:
you're not alone, i quite sure that i saw more belgians on this forum :D
btw, nice project, i only think the engine is a little to light for the car with such looks, but it's perfect to drive economical, en cheap
and after all, it is not too slow... 104hp?

ye 'round 105, but i'll boost the engine a lil' (even if it's stille a 16  its only 40cc less than a 18  )
cheap ?? ye insurance .... bu i'm thá kind of freak that i just changed all my silentbloks, suspension, beerrings ( don no if it's tha in english bu the rings behind the wheels) all tha before i 'tuned' my car, i might look like a 'tuner' bu i also think of tha safety and importent things, not just look winkeye
