thanks for all the nice words lads! it takes time but i feel shes coming along now just the arches and kit to be painted now! the rest of the cars superb.

its basicly a new car so it should be though hehehe , im running a full H&R cup kit 60 - 40 mm drop.

Yes berg theyre the hartge wheels im pondering across selling!! :cool:


oh and ive had the clear fronts for like 3 months i just put em on yesterday as i spent some time on her i know about the sides dont worry hehehe i knew someone would say lol ive just gota order some easy job though. so will prob wait i worry about big stuff first.. :cool: again thanks lads really appreciate the nice words. :cool:

Good to see another metal bumper car running on Hartges! What paint was used on the inlet manifold and rocker cover, thats exactly how I want mine to come out. What was the process you used?

hi bud if them side repeaters are the decent non water leaking type and are in good nick ill buy em off ya!! wat you want for them for a start! :cool:


Also Theo the paint i used was high temprature motor cycle paint Black i first of all got some wet and dry wat i call emory cloth type sand paper! spent hours lol sanding it down to a nice finish then cleaned dried it out.
then once i had a nice shiny effect i got the masking tape out taped over the whole area with the Bmw and every god damn line lol then bit by bit cut out each piece to you end up with just the lines and lettering taped... Then spray away merrily for a little while a few good coats and job done really m8. make sure before you put the mask on the lettering and lines and to a nice shiny finish then when you come to the end process of taking the tape off it looks the nutts!!
nice job for a sunday relaxing m8 cpl of beers & some paint! i done it all when i rebuilt my head on the sport! :cool:

Also yup man it is a tech 1 rear bumper just because of the suspension etc and the canver! makes it look lots bigger!
