I am new to this forum and went on the tecy forum to ask some questions and there was quite a bit of interest in my car so i thought i would put a small profile of her up!!
Started life as a 325 touring, it is now or soon to be finished an m3 touring fitted with a 500 bhp 5.5 ltr rover engine, i am a profesional engine builder by trade and spiecilize in the rover v8 engine it is all i have done for the last 18yrs since i left school, so it made sence to go for the rover engine however i am going to start building the bmw v8's which i reckon a good 600 bhp is acheivible so watch this space!!
anyway the car, engine
5.5 ltr rover v8 jenvey throttle bodies, spiecial heads done by david vizard, the list can go on with the engine!!
m3 suspension, koni race shocks, eibach roll bars, ac schnitzer 10.5x17's on the back with 265 40 17 dunlop d10j tyres, 235 on the front, recaro interior which will be trimmed in leather, carbon gauges, m3 bodykit which trust me was not a 2 minute job to fit!! the colour is dodge viper gts blue, straight cut 6 speed sequential gearbox, etc...........

Thanks for the replies guys, the colour is the same as the dodge vipers blue, the cement was in there to get the same weight as the engine for doing the arches/bodywork etc...., traction!! now there becomes a problem!! but to be honest i have grown up in the car/motorsport world and i have fitted some nice adustable anti squat goodies to the rear, before i went this far it had a 4.6 ltr in it around 300 bhp and i could drop the cluth at 4000 rpm with no wheelspin at all, and 0-60 of 3.9 so now i have really sticky rubber and quaife drive shafts and 200 bhp more i am hoping to break the 3 sec barrier!!

Break the 3second barrier

Now that will be fast

How did you mount those gauges? Are they under the original clear plastic? I have thought of doing this same thing.
