G, the Toyo stickers are ther cause they want to sponsor me now mate. Any size tyre i want for Ԛ£70 a piece. Compare that to the near Ԛ£200 a shot i normally pay for them.
Gav if you pick up a copy, then it's on page 158, but i've more or less shown you waht's in ther bar a couple of other pics, so save you dough dude. That's unless you want a copy to keep of course

Hi booty, bought Max last week (had to ask for it!) Top car Mate. It's well fat. Respect.

Cheers chaps. It was really embarrassing doing the shoot cause i had to drive round the block no less than 20 times, and you could just tell the look in peoples faces saying "YOU FLASH GIT. STOP GOING ROUND" I really felt like stoping and shouiting out that we were doing a shoot and i wasn't just being a muppet.
My mate bought a 330 sports cab at the weekend. It's peoper fat and sometimes i ask myself if i've done the right thing spending this kind of money on a E30, but when you hear even granny's telling you they like your car, then i guess it makes it worth while. I'd still sell her for the right money though. Now that i've got this show and mag feature thing out of my system, i'm feeling like retiring and having a quiet life

hi

Thanks folks. Cam when you finish Uni and get a job i will help you build a better one mate. I have so much knowledge from building my car now and i'm bursting to put it to good use. The trouble is afeer spending the kind of money i have, plus the build cost of the other one, i dont think i can ever afford to do another project this big again, so if any of you Zoners feels brave enough and fancy doing a stage 2 of my car, then please give me a shout and i will be only too happy to help you spend your dough

hahaa! thanks bootyman, il remeber that!! i think more e30 show stoppers should be built, i mean i love the e36 coupe's but they lack quality on the inside
its all about e30s, tell your mate to sell up and buy an e30!!

We want to build the best BMW's across the range, so i have my E30. Another one of my mates is building the most mental E36 cab possible ever. It's got the widearch Zeemax kit and is currently at Carisma Automotive (Jamie Shaw) having his trim and ICE sorted. The trim will be white leather and Gucci with white stiching and the ICE is woth about Ԛ£15 to Ԛ£20k courtsey of Fusion. You're talking screens in the sun visors and boot etc. One of my other mate has just bought a E46 330 Sport cab. He's more into smooth styling, but that car will also be a show stopper. His last car is in this months PBMW. It's a silver E46 Coupe and is sexy as hell. We just want to go to shows and cruizes and have the best BM's accross the range and all cabs too. Roll on Summer

I didn't read the max power article but I can see what you mean now in the difference in quality between that and the PBMW shoot. It brings out a whole lot more in the car, just makes it even more impressive!
Good work

Cheers Dom. I was dissapointed with the PBMW shoot and i'm not going to lie about it. I thought they would do a much better job than Max P, but it hasnt turned out that way. If i ever build a feature worthy car again, then i will take it to PBMW again, but this time i'd want to have a hand in picking the pictures and seeing the actual feature before it went to print. Because we done my shoot so late, there was no time in checking over what they's written or the pictures. The 1st time i saw it was along with everyone else when the car came out in the mag. Still a 7 page featyure for a E30 is not bad going so i'm not going to whinge anymore.

Hey Bootyman, I'm intreagued to know what it looked like before you started, have you any pictures?

It's hard to see from the picture, but there was quiet a lot of damage. I reversed into another car and the back all cracked up, the front bumper was also battered and that affected the wings. Everytime i hit a hump it streched the wing and they started to crack at the point where the wing meets the bumper, so we completly stripped her to a bare shell and started all over again. The interior in now the interio in my flip cab.

Someone did a little bit of work to it before you then...
What is it's rough value now, I haven't got a clue

The car was originally done about 8 years ago by the lead singer of the pop group E17 (Brain Harvey), but the only thing that still remains on the car is half the kit. I've changed everything the can be changed from the interior, to the bushes, from the carpets to the engine and like i said, we completly stipped the car down to bare shell before starting all over again. The car owes me aboyt Ԛ£35k, but if someone offered me Ԛ£25k, then i'll let her go cause i'm confident i can build an even better one for about Ԛ£25k

bootyman, i have to admit that your car is pphhaatt!! comparing pictures between the ones here and the ones on the mag, these are so much better. the color is hot. the whole car is freaking hhoott! i've been thinking for a long time now about a wide body for mine but cannot make up my mind on which one. of course with my own twists here and there.

an excellent job you've done brother.

How did you fit the E36 seats ? Did you make adapter plates ? Was it a difficult mod all in all ?
Thanks for the pix !-)

Only thing i could comment on negatively is the chrome/metal windscreen wiper.. i personally think they are the spawn of the anti style police and cause your car doesnt have any chrome on the front looks out of place imo..
The rest of the car is the nuts tho!! sooo much presence! and so gorgeous (and i dont like cars with kits lol)

Allrad, there are loads of kits for the E30 out there, but not that many wide ones. If i was to do a car again, then i'd go for the wide arch Rieger kit again, but this time i'd chop the hell out of it and build something completly unique. I have so many ideas, but no money to do anything about it
Frenchguy, the E36 seats are from the M3 Coupe. I know a couple of people who have fitted them in E30 Coups and they said it was quiet easy. I'm the only one i no so far who has done it in a cab, and it was very, very hard work. Mainly because the interor of the cab is smaller than the coupe and i've had everything re-leathered in my car. If you look in your car you will see that everything fits perfectly, but once you trim it the padding behind the leather makes things very slightly thicker and thats when the fun starts. We had to jack the car up and drill new seat hole, then we had to spot weld new bolts. The seats are quiet wide as well, so there was a lot of pushing and shoving going on before we managed to do it. In-fact at one point i nearly cried

because i'd spent Ԛ£thousand on my interior and it didn't look like it was going to fit.
Jhonno, I didn't originally buy that wiper for the Rieger. It was meant for the other cab, but we couldnt find a decent wiper when we were putting the Rieger back together so i just told them to use that one.

How you doing mate.
Thats the nicest e30 of all time bro, Well done!
There has been tonz of work done there and it has all come together perfectly!!!
If it was my car, I would be scared to dive it. I would probably have it stored in my garage covered in bubble rap for good measures! LOL
Well done mate!
Dave.
