Nope! They're made by AAG actually - who now make borbet wheels
I did the leather with some stuff I got (after much research!) from a french chap in Southampton! Had him send a sample of how the leather should be (from inside the seat) and how it was (off the old drivers bolster) off to the factory in France... took a while to come back but it was worth the wait! You use the stripper they supply first, then lightly sand the leather with a bit of wet&dry, use the cleaner, then a few coats of the dye, then conditioner. Takes a while but I'm impressed with the results!

Meant I could replace the drivers bolster with a white one & dye it to match too...
& I did the wheels at home... was just some minor kerbing & laquer damage so out came the dremel... they're not perfect by any means, but they're better than they were & I think they look good... Got the centre caps to polish up next, but I kinda like em without.

Got it in one...
Wasn't sure whether to go with the clears, or get some smoked ones? Definately like the smoked ones on the front...

Looking nice fella. Go with the clears... got some clear fronts you can try to see if you like them as well... will bring for testing purposes tomorrow...
Wheels have come up well, and I'd be interested in how the leather looks 'in the flesh'.
Looks really nice. Old school.

Cheers guys... I'm all for mods, but old skool's always the way forward

Zender kit's the next thing... Not gonna rush that one though - I'm not bored of how it looks at the mo yet!
& I'll give the clear fronts a go Giles, but I went for the smoked cos I like how they look with the smoked headlights...
'spose I could post up a spec list...

I've been looking! Not sure if the MHW style ones would suit, or if I'd be better off just doing the indicators red...

Good choice - you know chrome's the way forward

I hated the standard chin spoiler too... the one on there now's a (pretty rare) BMW option part - I guess most people either went for standard or the m-tech 1 kit. It took me a while to find my one!
Really like it now though... having trouble deciding whether it's as nice as the zender one, but I might as well fit the whole kit.

Heh - li'l bit noisier though & not
quite so comfy...
Are you an E30 owner again then? & how did everything else go on Sat?

Tried the wheels yet?

Picking the E30 up on Friday. Bodywork mint apart from small dent on passenger door and tiny bit on rust on passnger front wing sill area. Rear arches are mint as is the scuttle and everywhere else. Drivers seat worn, though no big deal. 90k with FSH, F plate Dolphin Grey 2 door 318, been stood for a year, so no tax or MOT. Needs brakes at the very least. Bargain price.
Not tried the wheels yet. In storage now.
Oh yeah... the 'other' thing on Saturday night went REALLY well thanks.

Great stuff all round!

Nice one!
M30 for the E30 then?

I'm sure Toby didn't mean it about not doing any more turbo manis...!

Yeah, M30 for the 318... Toby Style... solid front discs, rear drums, 4 spoke steering wheel and no LSD... nice.

So all that's left is a hard-top then.
Oh, and a wind deflector...

Not
that bothered about the hard top (still got my eyes open for a cheap one though!) - nowhere to keep it really & I'd rather spend the money on a 2.7.
Looking for wind deflectors on eBay.de - potentially one finishing tonight!

looking good ziggy!! imo you cant beat a chrome bumper cab. i see you now have the same front splitter as mine, good choice i love tthe look of it and like you said you dont see that many of them.
keep up the good work fella!
edit, oh also have you thought about an m-tech 1 rear valence? mine was the same as yours and it always use to look like something was missing off the back, so i got one and put it on and it makes so much difference to the look of the car

I can honestly admit that I copied you 100% Ryan!

Loved that spoiler on your car, but took me a while to work out what it was & track one down...
I've got a zender rear valance to go on as soon as I get round to painting it... Had another rear already sprayed up, but then Iain was selling the whole zender kit & I couldn't resist...
Don't know if you ever saw this btw? You asked for a photoshop but ya never replied to the thread so maybe you forgot about it?!

Got it off ebay in the end! But then Iain got a car with the zender kit on to break & I couldn't resist... I loved Neils car too, so I figured I'd copy him next!

Latest things - black rocker cover, red rear indicators, centrecaps...
Too bling or not too bling - that
is the question

Just an idea I had - didn't exactly take long to make em either!
