German plates look "OK" I suppose, still not convinced by them
Car itself though looks fantastic. What colour is it? Looks like flip paint in the pics

Haha, the plans list is endless, at the moment it stands at a BTB 6 branch manifold, a Larini exhaust, an ITG induction kit, a bored TB, leather attention, paint attention, sub and amp on the ICE side, the list goes on....
the plates were from dubmeister, very good quality, very quick delivery and look fantastic.

Im sure you'll become a convert one day Zayyan! The car is Macau Blue, it looks a bit like a flip paint becuase the sun was coming in really strong through the trees, so the reflections all over the car are from that.

Well I must say that colour looks the bollocks in the sun. It's up there with brilliant red and calypso metallic.
Is there any way you can bring down the kidneys? Looks like it's sticking its nose up at all the non-Motorsports

yeah they are coming off soon to have some replacements in black as the ones on there have a couple of fixings broken so they dont sit right. I will sort it out as soon as exams are over!!

Nice plates. Look great!
I have the stadt and plakette in the middle of the plate and before the final three letters on mine.

Sounds good, if you're after a mint black grille I have one available - I bought it, fitted it, decided it didn't look right on an otherwise standard car and took it straight off again

I do like the colour. The car looks fantastic.
Never really been a fan of the plates but was following a new R32 Golf today, black with black windows. I thought the car was a German on holiday until it clicked that H1S VW was a spaced UK reg on German style plates. It looked good.
As a new convert I do like your plates as well.

looks lovely gazza, nice to see another plate on a mint car. we should get a German plate photoshoot at a meet some time! Maxus, glad to hear you are now a convert, i really think they look the bollocks, especially with the plaquettes on (are you doing that aswell gazza or leaving the space?). Just something different and white on the back looks especially good IMO. Also, the motorsport surrounds are pretty cool, if anyone has noticed I have black on the front (technically the MPower surround, and silver on the back, the Motorsport surround). This happened because dubmeister didn't let me preview the Motorsport one so I ordered one of each and it turns out I quite like both, so put one on the front, one on the back!
Thanks for all the compliments guys

well after reading up a bit I found a few things out - firstly, people RARELY get pulled for these, most people wouldn't think twice that it wasn't a UK-German import on holiday here or something. Secondly, in my area, police don't really exist, I've been driving home from the pub for 5 years and not once have I been so much as stopped, let alone breathalised or anything. Thirdly, I have a cunning plan to prevent most reasonable officers having a serious problem, which is the whole, "they are show plates, I have the real plates in the boot, I just forgot to switch them back". I think most policeman would have to pretty bitter to take exception then. Plus, they look so damn PIAMP that I don't really care if it costs me £40 every year for the privelage!

I heard that if it passes an MOT then it shouldn't be a problem.
