My Cab

Just bought me a bmw yesterday. (my golf feeling a little neglected in the back

)
its a 325 with cream leathers. private plate. nothing too fancy but it holds a full service history and a load of receipts.
My plan was to find a 318 or something but ended up going all out. Cant believe how fast they are! and the sound is amazing!
Only thing i hate is the accelorator pedal. Its soo hard to press. is this common?
Ive already had offers (only had it less than a day)
Also if anyone knows what smoked rear lights are worth?
hope you like

Yeah the accelerators are harder i guess, but once you have got used to it, you won't want to go back. I think its because they "hinge" off the floor.
Looks like a nice buy, the straight 6 sound is one of the major +ve's about these cars, I can only imagine what it must sound like in a cab.

Looks nice dude, the colours fantastic. Dont worry about the throttle pedal, youl get used to it in about 1 hour!

nice, but boil the kettle and get some fishing wire. once boiling pour the hot water slowly over the M badge, then use the fishing wire to saw through the glue holding it to the boot. once off a bit of t cut to remove the rest of the glue and polish. that way you wont go to hell for haveing a //M badge on the back of a non M car!!
try a bit of WD40 with the little red straw, aim the straw down the throttle cable from the throttle body. give it a good spray then spray with lithium grease. may make it a bit easier.
but the throttle is stiff compared to other cars guess its so you know you are pushing something
oh yeah nice motor!!

i picked this one well under budget. The M badges will be off soon. Was also thinking of removing the spoiler and filling the holes with grommets for now. Has anyone tried this?
BTW its got a 'M' steering wheel and alot of other goodies. New exhaust system, factory limited slip diff, new bushes blaa blaa blaa can go on all day long.
Its on an E plate if that helps for the above^
I will be filling the leather creases with stuff from
www.liquidleather.com so the interior should be sorted.
I managed to break the door card clips. anyone got spares?
All the niggles will be sorted by the end of the long weekend
ohh and look what ive got....
Jelous?

Nice car, buddy, I went to see this car last week when Matt still, had it couldn't really justify spending the money he wanted for it, as it needs an interior (it's past the liquid leather stage), also needs a hood, and wasn't impressed by thre paint job that the vw bodyshop had carried out. Looks nice from a distance.

yep your right mate.
ive got a really good mate who ownes a bodyshop and his unit is 3 doors away. Its already booked in. Infact i went to see him straight after i got it home
All the cabs i viewed had dents, rust, no history and were owned by young lads and looked 'ragged'
end of the day i was after a car I could shoot about in, german built and old skool. This was way under my budget so im happy with it
Im only 20 and i think ive done well. most of my mates drive rusty jap wagons

ive decided to put the bbs on the golf as they look sooo small on the e30.
The e30 is already scratching speed bumps so i think its best i leave it as high as possible

Come on... don't tell me you'd rather have a tinny old Mk2 than a leather lined luxury cruiser...?
Okay... your Golf and £500 for my E38. And I'm doing you a favour.
Seriously though, the Golf looks lovely. Picking some 16" rims up this weekend for mine. Project on the go!
