Beige brigade

Just bought this 320i Automatic
85,000 miles
4 previous owners.
Aircon, no sunroof

I'm loving the 80's beige.

Not quite sure what I'm going to do with it, original idea was to lower it etc but now I'm thinking maybe I just try and restore it and go fully OEM on it with some 15" BBS and Lux colour coded bumpers.

I might convert it to manual.

Any thoughts?

Definately bottles for me too, very period indeed !!
There is a proper name for the colour and I think its quite rare.

I'd leave her as is and just tidy it up. These days, low mileage unusual spec cars are even more interesting.

Manual box and a 2.9 stroker engine, make sure you leave the 320i engine numbers on though :D

Bought these lovely condition 15" BBS for it off of a zone member. Also bought some GAZ dampers (didn't want coilovers) and some Eibach lowering springs.

I think I'm going to put a m54b30 in it.

I had a great day today working (well he did most of the work) on the manual conversion with Dave Kear, who has forgotten more about e30's than I will ever know.

Lightened flywheel, clutch and gearbox fitted.

51mm struts also sourced for the Gaz dampers.

15" BBS on, didn't fit centre caps because need to install the Gaz shocks and eibach springs.

More progress on manual conversion.

Nice work mate :thumb:

That 2.0i gets boring quick doesn't it :snigger:

I'd defo be going down the 2.7 route as a period correct engine in the bay

I'm embarressed to admit it but i've never driven it, i got it delivered and got to work on it.

My last e30 was an m52b30 stroker built by DanThe so i've actually never driven a standard e30.....i probably should

You probably shouldn't to be honest, even the 2.5i feels slow in comparison to nowadays motors (obviously) so you're not missing much! :thumb:

My wife bloody hates the colour which makes me like it even more!
