Actually a completion of my first post and start of my journery in owning an e30. My first memory of an e30 was on one of india's iconic post war race tracks - Sholavaram ! The car was owned by someone who could import it then - A malachite Green e30 325i , a metal bumper model. The seed was sown .
A picture story of my car follows.

as bought and cherished as an 83 316

And my 11 year journey of accumulating bits and money to finally get close to what I wanted to build

And finally it's a m20 325i stroked and bored with a metric mechanic 3.1 sport kit with a 3.73 lsd and suspension that I thought would suit my needs

See, knew i'd make myself look a tit before too long! Second photo down, the tyres have 'steel banded' written on them in white, looks like a racing car but i've never seen anything like that on roads in the UK.

Thanks Mart , the car came with the Weber conversion done by the previous owner.

I have an m20 in it now.
