Hi guys, I want to show you my e30, Ive got it from my wife as xmass gift in december 2013
some info about it
318i
1988
Marineblau
dont know mileage as instrument cluster was on passanger seat
Because im living in Ireland when is raining for 340days in year i didnt have to much sunny days to do anything, so ive waited till late spring/summer to check car condition
Ive took out carpet and check floor, which look really good for it age,
I took out everything else from car also and give it a good clean
Than i had great opportunity to buy engine donor
Price was so good that when Ive sold most of parts from it engine and gearbox cost me nothing, even still have leather interior in attic or sale , so that was really good deal
Ive started buying suspension parts
ISC Coilovers drift spec ready for 5x120 conversion
didnt have time to do anything wih e30 during autumn and winter, so she was waiting like that for several months
Next step was buying wheels for it

Ac Schnitzer
17" 9 I 10J ET around 20
second hand alloys so they need SPA
Stainless steel back box
more parts for e30
brakes from 330i e46 should fit nicely into schnitzers
Taking out engine from donor
I bought recaro speed seats in meantime

They went for retrimming straight away
Engine fitted
LSD, i was looking for one very long, but finally got one
3.25 ratio, 25%

Shame you had to break a pretty decent looking E39, but nice work nevertheless. What engine is it, M52B28/B30?

Great work on the car with an amazing transformation! However, I do not believe it is a Xmas gift for the wife any longer...!

Ok you persuade Mrs Birdseye that I can have another set of wheels and we'll talk business. No, only joking, I really can't I'm afraid. Best of luck with your hot automobile.

Had few issues with car lately, but its all sorted now thankfully
Ive ordered new springs to lower back a little bit more and avoid burning arches
Also will work on rear camber

Dont want to damage ac schnitzers so car is currently on brock b1, sitting fairly good and have to admit I kind of like that look apart from height of course
Firts was in three months and she's still looking good ;)

Car looks great, I wouldn't go that low, but only cause the roads are so shite. Also, be careful with that cage. In any sort of bump your head will not survive a collision with the cage. I think they're really dangerous to have in your car.
