Bruv - The King of the Council

So I bought this german whip last september but it was completely standard. only mod was some minor lows. it had a tired looking grey burberry interior, 14" rimz and no soft top. but it came with a hard top though. it looked like this...

Image

Image

Image

Obviously, it wasn't sick so man had to make it sick, so I put some Azev A rims on...

Image

but i realised they looked shit. So i decided to buy some new wheels...

Image

then I copped a Jimmy Hill chin spoiler...

Image

oh sorry not that one...

Image

Obviously you gotta have some startecs to claim the council throne (and a plate filler cause they're bad ass)...

Image

and i DIY smoked the headlights using cross hairs to match the startecs (Driver side in picture)

Image

but the car was too slow so had to get an engine swap (thats what all the cool kids do, but you old folk won't understand) so i bought my mates old m20b25, made it shiny (and belts plugs and other boring shizzle) and it was ready to go! and fitted an exhaust that I bought a magnex stainless steel from a crazy dude on here (that builds submarines but can't finish off his car!) and a six pipe ss manifold...

Image

while I was at it I had my floppy stiffened up (shifter rebuilt for the not so talented) and fresh new one piece knob installed - cause m-tech init...

Image

obviously I needed some leaverz init...

Image

then I turned my attention to the bodywork, to put it nicely, it was shit fam. Looked like someone swallowed paint and shat it out onto the panels. And there obviously was some of the brown stuff lurking in the nooks and crannies. so off it went to my good ol' mate Tony cause he loves touching up old cars the old perv...

Image

Image

cut out and replaced...

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

all rust cut out and replaced with new metal and then...

Image

Image

Image

Tony was not happy with one of the repairs so he had it perfected...

Image

then it was handed over to the teddy bear...

Image

Image

Image

Image

Bruv mode pause - As much as I wanted to keep the original colour, I just could not resist the sheer beauty of the colour that is Zobelbraun Metallic - Bruv mode play - so i chose a sick colour init...

Image

Image

Image

Image

obviously needed a tech 1 spoiler

Image

hello again!

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

test fit the tech 1 spoiler

Image

Image

and cause I'm so sick I bought me some Borbet B staggered wheels...

Image

Image

Ive had the old DIY smoked heads replaced with a brand new set of DEPO smoked heads, bought some brand new fogs too to freshen up the front.

so now, it will get wet sanded and polished and then refitted completely. Following that, a new exhaust system made up and pretty much done for now, future plans are to refurbish the interior, maybe in a different shade contrasting the paint like a tan or something and dye the carpet black unless of course i change the colour of the leather.

I know, some will love while others will loathe (i suspect more of the latter), but i love it. and all mods are easily reversed other than the paint of course, but i never intend to sell it so who cares? i dont...

Peace
Sayed

Sick Bruv! (Just to fit in)

Although i am not a fan of the tints, the colour looks amazing, what is it, Black, Brown or grey?

Yeah, not a tinted light fan (any more) Its what happens when you get old, you like everything original.

It's Brown, wow, thought it might be, can't wait to see it finished and would love to see it in the flesh. You from south london, are you going to the Boxhill meet?

Ahaha this made me laugh

......paint is great on the n/s wing..... winkeye

Some little boxing gloves hanging from the rear view mirror would just set it off a treat! Let everyone know you mean business when riding their bumper 8)

Nice work :thumb:

Can't remember the last time I saw it, but you can see it in this google streetview. Driven by a big Turkish guy.
