Previously owned an Alpine White 318is, and Brilliant Red 325i SE.

A lot of time and money has gone into this one, which is pretty much my ideal E30 - a Dolphin Grey 325i Sport.

Fantastic photos of a stunning car! It looks brand new! Out of interest what are the 2 white circles next to the hazard light and rear screen heater buttons?

They are relics of an old alarm system, motions sensors.

Well it's got the double chrome Scorpion tips now (not in these pics) and that was a popular choice at the time so it looks tidy.

It's looks as it did back in 1989 and that's what you want really.

I've owned a manual Alpine White 318is and an auto Brilliant Red 325i SE but this is a special car to drive”¦

Yes, so what is the car's back story?

Did you buy it and work on it to get it looking as it is, or has this been sitting in some old fella's garage from new?

The car was owned by one family for 20 years+ so it's a 2 owner vehicle.

I have since replaced the odd original part and indulged in engine refinement and aesthetics to keep it ship shape.

It's a keeper, as I'll never own an M3”¦

is it a low miler then? Certainly looks like a keeper. Excellent buy. Was it a bargain or did you have to pay the going rate for these, these days?

:)

Wow, you have just made me realize how much work I have to do on my 325is to get it look as they should.
It looks like one of the best I have every seen. Fantastic.

I recall a similar purchase (can't remember the zoner's username) but he managed to find a single owner, low mileage, silver sport, with black leather. It was truly stunning!

I think I know that one Gert, he's on here and the pics show it in the garage. IIRC it has something like 42,000 on the clock.

You will be astonished when you guess the mileage on mine - the condition belie the miles, and proves that if you look after these cars mechanically and physically they are built to last....

Well, if you want me to guess, and if I'm expected to be astonished, I'll say; 155k? :)

Wow, that's beautiful. I had a Dolphin 325 in '98, when the sun hits it you can really see where it gets its name from.

Yeah well I wondered what the average miles for a
Circa 89-91 Sport would be-?

I have seen identical cars with under 100k go for £15-20k in the last 12 months.

I have this a insured with an agreed valuation for £15k.

It is actually perfect! Great find.

don't suppose you have any videos of it running? Some of the baffles in my original exhaust have started to rattle loose and I would consider replacing it with a scorpion or similar. Once its not too loud or raspy?

The images of this car were used in a few adverts claiming to be for sale at 4k for a quick sale ,the lovely Emma sounded so plausible as well , or did I miss a bargain

"Hello,

First of all I want to thank you for your interest for my car. I've almost reached an agreement with a potential buyer. Unfortunately, it looks like there are some problems and he doesn't have all the money to pay. The car is still available for sale, it is in extremely good condition,100% HPI Clear, full service history. Currently I am on a business trip to Italy and will have to stay here for about 6 months (this is why I am selling the car for a low price and I am looking for a fast sale to finance the Italian project ) .I left the car to a specialized car shipping company custody and they will handle the sale for me. The V5 log book is already signed on my behalf, the car will come with 2 keys, all service records and previous MOT's. They will deliver the car directly to your home address (is ready for shipping because the loan of my previous buyer didn't get approved) so there won't be any additional shipping costs. If you are interested in purchasing the car just let me know and I willinform you with all the details

Thank you

Thanks for reply,

I left the car in A M E Haulage custody ( www.ame-haulage.com ) and they will handle the sale for me.I`ve used this company when I have purchased my van and I was very satisfied with their services. They acted very professional and at very affordable costs

If you are interested in purchasing the car just contact A M E Haulage department that handles the sale directly at: agent@ame-haulage.com and they will assist you with any questions you might have regarding the transaction

When contacting A M E Haulage sales department please specify my name ( Emma Witcombe ) and the car make

Please do get in touch if you have any more questions

Best wishes, :?

Just thought I’d jump back on to this given it’s been resurrected.

This is my old car, sold it in 2015. Lovely Sport and the car is been after for ages, but I sold it to acquire a stunning 6 series as that had been a holy grail item for some time. Very pleased with it.

I sold the Sport to a lovely retired Copper from Newcastle, so clearly this is a scam.
