so finally acquired the dream car BMW e30 325i 2 door. So i thought id get one before they rocket and i can clean it up.
The body work its straight apart from the boot, theres a some minor rust patches and it has 120k on the clock. needs a bit of TLC and tightening up a bit, already started but heres the photos of how the car stood when i first got it.
The goals are;
suspension -
lowered and stiffer
wheels -
15" bbs basket weaves, ronal ls, or 16inch alpina
Brakes -
calliper rebuilds, painted, fast road/track pads
I.C.E -
focal pc130's (fix original radio-replace it whilst do that)
interior -
mtech 2 steering wheel, striped cloth front sport seats, or full sport leather. new dash bulbs and OBC light strip, colour coded dolphin grey dial rings, fix up or get new mats.
exterior -
replace original plates for dealership plates (like for like swap)
318is front lip
full respray, colour code bumpers and wing mirrors,
Oem arial
possibly black shadow line
Engine -
service, and clean engine bay, possibly look and power mods in future, more likely to keep it NA though for the OEM feel
heres some photos to begin with where i'm at regular updates coming.

Kieran some days i wake up liking bottle tops and sometimes i think they're just too small, shame they weren't a 15 or wider. Took allot of negotiating to get the car off Ryan don't think he wanted to let it go.
so just grabbed some of the photos off my camera for a "work so far"
the engine bay way every colour i didn't want it to be

it was in need of a clean and the washer bottles had collected gunk and grime so when i did the oil/filters/spark changes i gave the engine bay a clean.
Also the oil that came out was like expresso so ill change the oil in couple of hundred miles. I had to get welding done on the inner sills for MOT so when the carpet was out and seats were out i gave them a bit of a clean.

im from urmston kieran, thanks for the compliments i wan to keep it looking as period as possible but still with comfort and style. i thought everyone preferred weaves over bottle tops you know obviously not hahaif i keep them ill need spacers i think.
Ordered 2 focal pc130 speakers so i can test fit them in the front (worried about the coaxial tweet being proud) if they are alright ill get another set so fronts and backs are the same.
Also got Tarrox Strada pads coming ATE racing brake fluid and caliper repair kit coming for them faster stops

Nice looking chariot. You can't beat a Delphin 2 door 325i.
Bottletops have a certain charm (I use them in winter with a set of Goodyear Ultra Grips) but that will look infinitely better on 15"BBS.

so i cant find a decent image hosting site for forums might have to set up a flickr (image shack trial ended) but anyway Tarrox pads callipers rebuilt and the whole calliper should have been fully painted but ran out of time with needing the car on the road. i need to find speakers for the front of the car thinking of components wondering if the space will fit a 7x5 speaker or not, Also curious what head-unit to get really could do with replacing as the one i've got has more problems than i thought but i want something fitting and not too flashy or... well chrome all new head units seem to have some in them haha love OEM but love sound quality..
anyway Ronal LS to be ordered this week and bilstien shocks and h&r spring with e90 top hats
alternator belt, coolant temp sensor and power-steering belt arrived but they are'nt that exciting
