Cheap thrills

So, I've bought myself an E30 touring as somethng to keep me entertained while I take my E21 off the road to try and fix all the things I hate about it. Don't get me wrong, I love how it looks but when I enjoy looking at it more than I enjoy driving it, there's something wrong.

So the E21 is being put away for the time being while I plan some upgrades to deal with the lack of speed, slow steering rack, poor fuel consumption and uncomfortable seats.

So in the mean time, the works Skoda doesn't quite do it for me either, so I've picked up something to have a bit of cheap fun with.

It started as a 320 but has had a 2.5 swap. It's rough round the edges but it's cheap, solid and it runs well.
It's already got coilover front legs, drilled and grooved discs with braided lines and polybushed antiroll bars.
Also got a selection of spares with it, an OEM extinguisher and some Azev A which are a little bent but should be able to be straightened

Back seats are a bit of a mess but will keep an eye out for a full black interior

Front seats are from a Vauxhall I believe but are actually pretty nice places to sit. I'll just have to get them matching a little better

Had an hour to spare so started with some changes. Black kidneys gone in favour of chrome and a light smoke on the headlights.

Also tried on my 16's from the E21 and lowered the front slightly. Needs a little more tyre on the front but they will work I think

Plates will be changed soon. Ordered a few other bits that are on their way and have done alot of reading as to other upgrades.

I like the idea of a 5 stud conversion and 17's in preperation for an engine swap (way) down the line . . .so any advice on that will be well received.

Cheers

Sort of off topic but do you know what interior fits a e21.
What I'm asking is it a straight swap with e30.
Thanks

No, the only way to get e30 front seats to fit is to cut the front seat mounts off the floor pan and make new ones lower down. They will bolt straight up but you'll be sat so high up your head will touch the roof and legs will be jammed under the wheel. In short, nothing but E21 seats fit direct. Everything will have to be custom mounts.

The rear bench won't fit either, not 100% on the reason, I think maybe too wide?? I'm currently making some E24 bucket rears fit but again, everything will have to be custom

Heres a pic of the door cards compared to the OEM black dash....bit shiny shiny for my liking but fresher looking than the grubby grey and only cost me a few quid
