My First e30, M52B28 Conversion

I've wanted an e30 since I've been able to drive, never had the chance until now,

Picked it up at the end of last year, and it's sat in a field unfortunately until now due to lack of time/funds, but the recent good weather has spured me on to get it going.
It's a 1989 316i with 240,000 miles on it, runs a bit rough, but not too bad considering the mileage.
The car itself is in a right state, the springs have been cut, but not just a coil, they have been cut clean in half.
It needs a bit of welding, only has 1 and a half seats, both seatbelts are not attached at the moment, power steering pump has popped, the list goes on.
It's pretty scary considering the guy I bought it off drove it like this, and it's still got MOT...
Anyway, the plan is, get it on the road asap, enjoy it for the summer, then give it a major resto over the winter.
So far I've just been picking up parts for it, I've not been able to begin work.
A M52B28 from a 96/97 e36

A set of e36 Black Leathers I look forward to making fit

And I found a set of replica BBS wheels with tyres going cheap

By the way I've got no idea who Jess is haha
I did get a bit of work done the other day, getting the lump stripped down, cleaned and mostly reassembled
