Okay, I'm giving up on my build, this is all I'll ever want.

Anyone want a 3.0 stroker :(

Proper engine - I've seen your thread on passion ford.

I'm considering a yb and run a zf box as t5's are becoming so expensive, but then again what isn't which is cosworth related.

Thanks for the comments :) Im happy enough with the current spec of the engine and its quite a handful when it comes on boost! running about 360 horse with the current setup.

Ive been looking at carbon kidney grills and an M3 spoiler with the adjust flap! What do you guys think of that?

Also some centre lock wheels dtm style.

Looks great as it is but DTM wheels could be cool though. I'd lose the eyebrows and have a chrome grill if it was mine. Look forward to updates.

Ill be honest I've never been a fan of different makes of engines in a Bmw..

But that is epic!

Would like to see this driving in the flesh!

I remember having a good look at this on pistonheads when I was looking, still haunts my dreams! And videos of it going? Would love to see what I could've had instead of the rusty old strainer I ended up with!

It was just by chance that the sale of my Impreza P1 had fallen through and i was on my way back from Russia looking on ebay for something to swap and i seen this car! It was a no brainer for me tbh! i know the P1 is an awesome all round package but im old skool and it just didnt cut it for me! Felt a bit weird driving away in this thing with the heavy steering, stiff clutch and that old car smell but once i came off the roundabout near my home and gave it welly for the first time and seen the look on my wifes face as it shot up the road like a rocket i knew i had made the correct choice lol. This car is much quicker than my P1.

No videos yet but i have recently bought a gopro with adaptor for sticking the camera outside or on the windscreen so i will certainly get a video up at some point :)

Hopefully your haunting dreams go away lol

Cheers,

Ry

The previous owner screwed down the boost as he was overtaking a bus at about 80mph and planted the foot to get past and almost lost it as it came on boost ha ha

Once the engine blows up il get it rebuilt the way i want it and maybe up the power slightly ;)

Yeah still into fords, always will be lol.

Still got my xr3i cabby and capri :)

Passionford has died a death over the past 3 years! Used to be a lot better tbh.

Whats the plans with the escort?

I would take the vinyl stickers off, take the eyebrows off, source a proper ford cosworth boot badge, replace the wheels with standard 15" cross spokes (if they fit) or if you've fitted bigger brakes maybe something from http://www.rs-felgen.de if your talking about centerlocks.

Dont fit a dtm exhaust, it will cheapen the car. Im tempted to say I like the exhaust thats on it, its kind of a nod to the ford scene. (could be smaller though, a nice polished up rolled out 2 1/2" / 3")

Either way. Love it, Your my hero!

I am tempted to take the sticker off the boot but the ones on the wings have been laquered over :(

Yeah the exhaust is a bit over the top! It is ideally needing replaced as its been a bit of a bodge to get the car up and running! I was thinking of getting a custom one made with a smaller tailpipe to suit.

Thanks for the comments :) Im glad you like it.

Cheers,

Ryan
