Hi zoners , been hovering around for a while on this forum , here's a quick update over the time ive had the e30

Bought as a standard 316i auto about 2 years ago now
Image

Next i lowered it
Image

And fitted my sport black leather interior to get rid of the grey cloth nastyness
Image

I then broke a sump to bits so made a shallow one out of 3mm steel
Image

Then bought some wheels for it
Image
Xxr527 in 16" et0

Next i converted it to manual
Image

Lowered it some more next
Image

Got fairly bored after a year or so of 1.6 powers so i set on a m50b25 swap

Image

Ripped out the 1.6 ,quite happy to have the dc2 for a daily whilst i was doing this
Image

In and running.

Also i converted it to 5 stud all round using e36 318ti rear trailing arms and e36 328i front brakes
Image

Please excuse the e46and e36 wheels , i have much better ones on the way

Thats pretty much it up to now , missed out lots but wanted to keep it short and sweet
Current spec of the car is
M50b25
M20 ltd flywheel
Sachs clutch
318is gearbox
325i prop
3.91lsd
318ti trailing arms polybushed
Front arms pollybushed
Front custom coilovers
Front 328i 286mm brakes
E36 rack conversion
Custom exhaust with danthe conversion manifolds

Thanks for reading a‘a

Firstly welcome to the Zone, secondly that is bloody low, what's the ride quality like?, does it ground out on speed bumps?

Did some repairs today swaped out my tired e30 tierods and trackrod ends for e36 equivalents
Image

Always hated the e30 adjustment lock thing kept catching if it was sat on top , e36 ones are loads better and fit fine
Also picked up 1 style 32 17x9 for cheap as i want a full set of 9s to run for dailys idealy when my new wheels are together

Image

So if any one has another 9 or a staggered set for sale pm me a‘a

gotti g1001 16x9 et25 in 5x120
i picked them up in a fairly poor state a while back and been refurbishing them when i had a chance too
had the lips mirror polished centers powdercoated in hypersilver
and gloss black powdercoated barrels ,refurbished the original bolts and valves and replaced the nuts because they were rusty.
got them on intime for players classic at good wood a couple weeks ago ImageImage
