What's in it for me?
It seems that you want us to do all the work and you take the glory/cash.
Perhaps a link to your "online magazine" might encourage some of us to have a look.
Have you been using the internet for long?
Ben

One zoner has just fitted a scorpion stainless steel exhaust.
He also has lots of parklane bmw receipts.
I forgot his name, don't worry he will drift along shortly with a reply.
When taking pictures remember to get him in aswell.
He has all the bmw attire.

Not sure if I can post it. I am not clear on the rules of this forum. But the website is
MaxRevs.co.uk for more clarification.
There are certain makes (forums) where we are contacting forum members asking if car owners would be interested in sharing their cars and projects with us and our visitors.
We are not a forum and our website is free for use.
We have a large collection of cars, projects, ability to subscribe to a car/garage, ability to share content with forums, easy image upload, challenge & battles, and much more.
Our website is built as an asset for community websites like forums, facebook groups, etc.
Hope it clarifies.

That would be really interesting.

Sneaky hidden link you provided I see.
You really aren't doing yourself any favours with this approach.

Battles is the gaming section where you play top trumps with your car(s).

Well, basics to start with.
Something on the home page that explains what the site is for might be a good idea.
As I asked earlier, have you ever used the internet?

Course I can, but it's my job and career and I don't give it away for free.
Essentially though - content, design, accessibility, speed.

so why post like an arse first off and then come out with this cocky chirp as some sort of witty retort?
If everyone charged for their advise on here there would be
A) not alot of fixed running/restored/repaired e30's etc
B) A ghost town

dude,
I can give you some quick advise on your site and happy to take it offline if you want a deeper discussion.
point 1 - the scraper you are using for some of your content is inconsistent in styling and usage that your database elements.
point 2 - you are trying to do too much on a single page, split your elements up and use clear navigation and content snippets to highlight what you feel might be interesting content to the visitor
point 3 - always post your content with some context to the page and why you are posting it.
point 3 - your design and styling is not professional enough. Get onto freelancer.com at the least and run a competition for a better design then do some user experience testing on the shortlisted entrants
point 3 - dont try to over personalise, you end up alienating everyone
point 4 - your theme looks like a car supermarket. the stars and ratings don't work.
point 5 - too much going on
point 6 - keep consistent your project diaries and thumbnails don't match any other images. all images and thumbnails should be the same size (this will be fixed with a new design)
point 7 - no clear credibility or proof that it is your own work. all good sites of this type introduce "presenters" you need some journalists to write content and also present the ideas
point 8 - mix it up a bit, BMW owners are also interested in other cars. just like skyline owners, subaru and any others car guys like interesting content. you are not a forum or an image hosting platform stop trying to be all things.
point 9 - the battles are not obvious and are not strong enough without supporting content and possibly owner videos
point 10 - as a new site you should show some metrics on visitors or subscribers to let people know that their cars will get seen
these are just a few quick ones based on a 5 min look at the home page
first thing I would do is talk to your readers and ask them what they want then produce a design brief that highlights that fact first and do some UX testing on the layouts. But you need a redesign.
Best of luck.

Point 11 - Don't spam forums to try and get free content for your site without explaining what the benefits are.

the battle thing is stupid. There was an e30 race car that said LOOSER which had a fully built motor and heap of other performance goodies.
winner was a stock E36 318 with a podfilter and exhaust as a mod..
stupid.
