Hi all,

I picked this up 2 weeks ago & love it already. Need to do a few things to it but overall it's in good condition.

147,000 miles but has been stood in a garage since October 2007 & was only recommissioned in June this year.

It runs really well & did the 260 miles home when I collected it without any trouble.

It has a few patches of surface rust but I don't think there's anything serious but will reserve judgement on that till I can get it up in the air for a good poke around.

There's a couple of things to do this year before the bad weather gets here but nothing major:

New aerial as this one is stuck up & bent.
New passenger rear window motor as this doesn't work.
Service.
Change Fuel filter to see if this quietens down the noisy pump & if not then a new pump.

Then it's saving up for the mods.
I'm aiming for a fast road/touring car with a 2.8 M20 with LPG. Bilstein B8/H&R suspension inc ARB's.
Bigger brakes.
I want to keep it looking more or less standard so it will be a bit of a sleeper.

Here are a few pics of the car, I'll take more when I get around to starting on the to do list.

Thanks buddy, I'm hoping to get it re sprayed in the original colour in the next few years to get rid of all the stone chips & cat scratches.

Long time with no update.....
The car has been away for the last 3 weeks having a M20b25 installed but it'll be ready to collect on Thursday & I can't wait. The guy doing the install said the car looks very clean so I'm hoping that 7yrs stood in a barn has been good to the old girl & she won't require any major body work anytime soon.
Next on the list is sorting the handling out as I think it's still wearing its original suspension but I've a holiday to pay for 1st then I'll have to book a week off to fit everything.
Then I'll start collecting the parts for the M20b28 build I've got in my head.
