Hi guys. Been a member on here for a while but never had an E30 to post up until now. Had a few E30's in the past including a tech one sport, 316, 320 etc. Got rid of the last one about 7 years ago so its been a while. Had loads of E36's in that time and just got rid of my E46 Alpina B3 3.3. Had a free garage for once and a mate called me to see if I was interested in a car. All he knew was that it was an E30 318is and it had been stood about a year. Got some pics sent and bought it blind after thinking I wouldnt lose on it at all for what I paid for it. Well it got dropped off friday night and this is it.

The paint is flat as a witches tit, the front spoiler is missing, the footwells and boot are full of water, mushrooms growing in the boot, the shocks are wanked, the springs are too low, scrape on the o/s/r wheelarch ,the gutter trim is missing from the N/S and it runs like poo as half the air pipes are perished.
The main thing is it seems to be fairly solid which im pleased about.
Spent the day cleaning it out and its now in my warm garage to try and dry out. Next weekend im gonna remove the carpets to dry it properly then make a list of parts needed. I have a budget in mind to try and sort it, so lets see if I can stick to it. Im in no rush to sort it as it will be a second car anyway.
As far as i can see it will never be a minter but can be a presentable car for a bit of fun. Think im gonna go down the OEM route with this one as every car Ive had I ve modified and part of the fun with this will be returning it to standard.
Here it is in its new home.
Cheers for looking
