1990 E30 2 door 316i Auto in Alpine White. Totally immaculate and mint. Not a hint of rust...or anything. 1 owner prior to me with a full supplying dealer history. Every piece of paper ever written about her - every service record, book, mot, reciept, bill of sale, dealer sticker and plates etc - the lot. Genuine 38,000 miles on the clock. Options fitted new were elec eindows, headlight adjust, sunroof, power steering, auto box. Been kept in a heated garage from new, I keep her in a heated dehumidified garage - she will never be out in the winter or rain - a serious dry summer day machine for sure. Completely standard and 100% as factory - the toolkit and spare/jack etc have never been out the boot. Bought her 2 weeks ago for the bargaintastic price of Ԛ£1995. What else can u buy like that for 2k? Nothing! I think the fact thats its the base model makes it even more special. I will be leaving it standard 100% as im an originality freak. Pics below if anyone's interested. Cheers.

It was advertised on the BMW club website at a place called the 80s Emporium - specialist in 80s cars. I got the 5am train down to Stratford upon Avon from Scotland the morning after it came up for sale and handed over the cash. Drove home - cleaned it lots and its now away until summer.

by RustyRuss
Haha yeah ive not stopped grinning since i got her! Not usually kitted out in a suit for pics but i really wanted some pics of her and today was about the nicest day since i got her home so took advantage of my lunch hour lol. Think its made me realise tho that even in its most basic form the E30 is am immensely good looking car! I had previously only considered 325is etc, but im even more pleased cos its kinda different with it being a base model.

Cheers everyone - much appreciated. Ill be keeping her for a very long time! Roll on summer i say. That was my first thought when i saw her too - when was the last time that u saw those wheel covers lol. The number plates quite funny yeah, its unusual that its still on its orig number as a lot of folks would have put personalised plates on them at the time me thinks. Its got the window etchings.

Nice and fresh! Nearly new bmw's are great!

I have an H reg 316i with 64 000 on it, and i though that was pretty fresh (well it is compared to my old D-reg m10..)

Does it still have the running in sticker on the drivers side of the windscreen? Mine does... :P

Posted: Thu Dec 08, 2005 5:44 pm
by RustyRuss
Afraid not, seems to have every other sticker tho.
