Nice late touring there! Its good to get them back out isn't it

Been out for a few hours in the sunshine, no issues as per normal, dinner taken at a relatives and then back home to tuck away in the garage. So now were out to a party........I really like day's like these and yes it's great to get them back out.

I've honestly no idea! I've never given it that much consideration, I'm assuming it's just one of the last to roll off the line!
However if anybody can enlighten me further it could be interesting to find out!

Try putting the last 7 digits of your chassis number into realoem and that will tell you.

Should I be looking for anyhing in particular date wise?

Realoem will only tell you month and year.
Think you need a VIN decoder to get exact day.
Mine is 30-3-94

Tried realoem and as you point out it only produces info for the month and year in which case it was bang on for mine, I never knew until now that the 316i lux was built for europe until Feb 2004. Following your other suggestion I went onto vindecoder and discovered the accurate production date for M254 and it is 09/11/93. Due to running out the e30 range around that time I would imagine it sat around North Oxford Garage for a while until it got registered in August 94.
I obtained it in 2005 mainly as a dog car as we'd recently got a Black Labrador pup who coincidently was born on the 9/11/04.
They were obviously suited for each other.
Along with all the other data it confirms what I always believed that it's an unmolested, stock, late low mileage, well serviced e30. Which I saved just in time.With exception of an mtech 2 steering wheel which I addded it's all original.
Oh yeah and a couple of doors and some paintwork as a result of someone running into it when I was bringing it home form Manchester where i bought it
