heres a few pictures of my e30, last pictures are how it looks now after getting alot of rot removed from the rear inner and outer sills, got the skirts back on and on the original wheels. Was originally lachs silver but the previous owner repainted it white.

Seen this on NI- Bmw

The headlights, motorsport handles are new?

Looks better with the bbs wheels imo

cool, headlights are recent as are the handles, was in the bodyshop for all november getting sorted, got it back on the road and mot'd just before christmas. Drives so much nicer on the bbs, probably to do with the weight comparison against the fake alpinas

E30s drive horrible on Alpina reps.

Looks a nice car.

Headlights aren't to my taste though.

They didn't make a white tech 1 did they?

You didn't mess around.

Mines has sat in the garage like a virgin... untouched! lol

Got all the parts from BMW sitting... might make an effort to do something this Friday. :?

Could be to do with weight or size difference.
Whats your gear changes like?
Mine was awful so new gear linkage sitting waiting for me to do something.

Anymore plans? 8)

no white made to my knowledge, i like it in white but i would have prefered original regardless of colour, but i wanted a tech 1 and this was local at the right money. i have put as much into it as it cost me though but im planning on keeping it longterm.Headlights were changed mainly for better light and relatively low cost.

gear change is a bit sloppy, i would like the uuc shifter kit, but at the price it is down the list a bit, i have a 6 branch and system to go on, but this needs a bit of work due to the centre section not sitting well. I done the rx7 caliper conversion a while ago also, rebushed the rear axle. could do with new springs and shocks as the springs are the originals and the shocks cheap aftermarket ones.

looks nice condition

so is it a genuine tech 1 that the vin etc all checks out ?any traces of the old color anywhere ? black head lining ?

but you need to get rid of that latter style front grille M badge, at least for a proper e30 one, and them pedals, but looks nice in white, ive always wanted to make a henna red tech 1

genuine tech 1 was lachs silver, engine bay still silver, no power steering model, black headlining. one thing i cant find ant information on is the seats. they are half black vinyl, not leather, no rear headrests but has the armrest. anybody know about options back in 86? The pedals and m badge were previous owner additions, i removed what he had on the rear and fitted genuine 325i badge and roundel. front mbadge will be removed soon :)

 Your definitely cracking on and doing the right things.

I bought the custom bits from Dan for the e46 power steering upgrade.

I know the standard lights aren't fantastic but the new headlights aren't for me.
It's an easy enough job to convert standard lights to HID

The only thing is .. I think you can only use the facelift lights?

mines a non power steering too, non pas on 17" reps is a god awful combination, get rid of them wheels , also keep an eye on the inside rear edges if its been lowered...

shame about the engine bay being silver, what about all inside the boot and all inside the car all silver still ? are you going to go the whole hog and sort it

only engine bay and floors under carpets silver, its a keeper for me, i will probably never sell it, eventually it will be put it my garage and rebuilt on a "when its finished its finished" basis, but for now its a solid daily driver for me, which i can improve slowly until that time comes. the shell is pretty good now i got the sills sorted, its already had rear panel, wings, bonnet, and bootlid replaced by previous owner, only parts that will need attention soon is the front floor corners but its minor repairs.

Seats are pretty good, only a small defect on the drivers front base right in the middle. Anybody seen half vinyl in an 86 model?
