The car lived a few mile from the sea so I'm still discovering new delights. The passenger rear inner arch has had a shoddy repair so that's my next job...

Well done for saving it, Sterling Silver does look nice (even if I say so myself.)

Good to see you getting it fixed rather than fragging it. Although I fear they'll be more brown patches to cut out.. hope it doesn't stop you

. Always inspiring to see it getting sorted..

Thanks for the encouragement. It's failed the MOT on corroded rear brake lines. I'm having them rebuilt next Wednesday.
Bought a few bits ready for the job.

Angel eyes and clear lenses look rather nasty.

I've put them on and quite like the look of the lenses. I'm not a fan of smoked ones but I guess it's all subjective. I know everything I do won't be met with approval

So long as you know that, it's all good, most people just get their knickers in a twist when they are told 'that looks rubbish'/'keep it standard'.

They are white lights. Give me some credit... blue wouldn't match my shellsuit!

I was bored and decided to remove the body kit. O/S outer rear arch now added to the shopping list. The inner doesn't look too bad but the rain has postponed a proper investigation.
N/S
- Front wing
- Inner rear arch
- Outer rear arch (On order)
O/S

Sills yet to be inspected...

Please don't fit them. Get some HID and love the classic look.
I can see you have used a welder before!
Your going to need some more wire and gas

That's all the usual suspect area's
Have you had a look at your inner arches yet?
What welder set up are you using? I'm no expert but you look like you are running out of gas with the action on the floor.
Cut it, grind it, burn it, weld it.

Nice restore project dude! Did you have to remove the windscreen/seals to get that rust hole on the scuttle sorted?

You mean the inner rear arches? The previous dodgy repair on the n/s is being replaced with a proper panel. Not checked the o/s properly yet.
Yep, the gas has gone! I'm such a cowboy!

I was lucky and could cut just below the screen. Used a couple of 10p's to hold the seal out of the way.

Took off the n/s front wing today.
Fortunately, there were only a couple of rust spots.
I also vacuumed the carpet and gave it a good scrub. Plan on dying it black.

The green does look nice on the modern beemers. I'm getting drawn towards the yellow. Found some real E30's
