Here are my two turds at work, one doesn't have enough cylinders and the other has an m30 anchor, but I love 'em, sorry about the poo quality
Some may have seen my commuter turd, well she's up for MOT at the end of the month so I thought I would spruce her up a bit.
Here is how she looked at the start.
Day 1. Stripped down to the rather rusty frame
Day 2. getting rid of old paint and rust.
Day 3 and 4. Acid etch primer, colour and laquer
Day 5 Starting the rebuild
Comments welcome

No, bought from a guy in cambridge, these bikes went out of service in 2008. The MOD sold them for 103 quid each to a ex military auction company and they are left outside to rust in peace

103 each... The government not heard of eBay? Brilliant deal for the company tho
I actually ment the paint you used not the bike itself.
I assume you work(ed) for the MOD, must be tonnes of NATO green going spare!
btw what's replacing these bikes then?

No painting allowed anymore, can only be done in a proper facilty so no nato green. No place for bikes on the modern battlefield either. Been a mechanic in the army for nearly 23 years and have just over a month left

Thanks Verde, for some reason feels a bit sluggish, new exhaust actually has some baffles in it so might be a bit restrictive, need to release all 29bhp

They have been parked up outside since 2008, Withams is the company, they only have one to tender this month and its over 2000 quid!! They are keeping prices up by not flooding the market and making the occasional good bike with all the good bits off these.
