Hi all, starting this thread to show progress on my 325 touring which at the minute is very little, i bought the car last saturday, picked up from surrey, drove all the way back up north and here i am. The idea started about a month ago, I had my Skyline r33 pinched, the car got recovered but i couldn't really bring myself to drive it anymore so decided to put the engine to good use. The choice of car at first was an s13/s14 (booring) so decided i'd like an e30 coupe/touring, never thort i'd actually see this through but now i have myself a very clean, straight and solid 325 touring which im very pleased with. Will upload pics as a go allong but for now the car will stay as it is until ive sold the engine.
So here it is on the day i bought it

Detailed the car today will upload a few pics in the morning

Yes but wouldn't use his method. Wasn't the best put together.
If there's anything you need to know about the RB let me know as I work on the things daily.

Erm the engine was a neo engine, afaik it was running over 360hp and was a very quick car.

Was just to keep the standard look tbh with a slightly larger bore for the rb engine. Isnt exactly how i imagined it but it'll do for now

Thats exactly the first thing i said when i saw them, an then realised there was a bit more to them than a bent 300mm ruler

Although it looks like the engines only held up by the flimsy 1 inch piece of bar, theres actually a 2nd piece onto the subfram behind it lol

Pic of engine on its mounts for the first time
Brake servo from the r33 fits nice an snug
Gear shift nicely lined up (thought this would be an issue)

Eventually when ive run the car for a few months i'll start changing bits, turbos, injectors etc, but for now it'll just run standard boost as it did in the skyline. Maybe looking at the rsp 400bhp kit afterwards

if you want any help with the tunning side of this project then give me a shout, id be more than happy to help and had plenty of experiance with getting these to a a reliable 500bhp, my freinds currently running one with just shy of 600bhp that i built for him running anti lag etc, he only uses it ti drag race though so it dusnt get much use. good strong engines but i would recommend changing to an N1 oil pump, even on a standard engine,

Bit of an update. Engine is in for the last time now. Rear shocks and springs are on, bc's are on, Radiator and intercooler all mounted.
Things on the to do list:
Make up an fit all intercooler pipes
Make up an fit radiator pipes and fan.
Fab up exhaust, turbo elbow to mid section.
Few heat sheilds for brake an clutch cylinders to be made.
Wire up all engine loom to e30 loom, then get the thing running
New brakes to be fitted.
Then just the basic bits to build back up, bonnet, exterior/interior bits etc
