E30 Zone

Hey,
I'm bjorn and I'm from Belgium (Sorry if my english isn't always so good)
Here is my story how I became the owner of an E30...

Somewhere in 2003 an E30 come's in the bmw garage I work.
With after some research a damaged engine, they put the car outside untill the owner deside whta to do with it.
A half year later the car is still there, the guy ignore us and doesn't want to know anything about it.
After seeing the judge he give's the car to the garage to pay the parking kosts. Then it's April 2004 and it finaly worked to get all the papers and suddenly I own the car for 300euros .
So I changed everything that was damaged on the engine and the car after putting 1500 euro's (with bmw discount) the car is reborn!!

Now I drive the car for over a year and have a lot of fun with.
Here the specs:
- 318is
- Brilliantrod (or rather pink after al those years )
Options:
- Electric windows,mirrors,sunroof and antenna
- Leather sportseats
- BMW Sound-System
- On-Board computer
- Black roof
- OEM Alarm

I bought him with a racing dynamics kit:





But I didn't liked the kit, so I removed it but then I discoverd this:





The hole in the back is allready fixed the rest olso in time

My plans is to put the car original and full optional
Just A little bid lower and other wheels.
BBS RS like you see on the pic but they will come in 8 an 8,5 wide with the hart in Original BBS gold.

top stuff mate, and them wheels are . i'd say go 9" wide on the rear if ya can

Thanks but i stay with the 8,5 on the back, It's my daily car so I'm nog goin to extreem but maybe in the future...

That looks like a nice car. If you want to loose the pink look, there is something you can rub into it. I dont have a red car but im sure sombody who does can tel you what it is.

I've got a new update, wiechers adjustible strut tower bar on the back.
I already had one on the front and now on the back too:



Don't mind the audio, in the future it will be gone or it will go trough the woofer box.



I also bought new BBS logo's for the future bbs wheels:

Did u sell the Racing Dynamics kit? Very rare they are!

I've got it from Germany at the Essen motorshow. It's still open till sunday, so if you're fast

And i stll have the Racing Dynamics kit.
I'm trying to sell it, I know it's rare but not really a fan of it myself.

But must say it's good kwality and very strong.

Bought me a new steering wheel wil fit in the future with the BBS Wheels.

Soon this car will be replaced.

Hint: The new car I'll have next week but has to waite till summer to be driven. (Milleage 103.000Km)

Oh and an E30 offcours!

I took I off.
It's maybe rare but I don't like it.
I love the E30 the most in his original look or the M-tech 2 look.
But I still have it, ready for someone to buy it.
But here in Belgium there aren't that many E30 freaks.

No more music in this car, took everything out of the trunk.

Found this in a wrecked car and put it in my IS:





Going to put a new carpet in to because the owner before spilled somthing on it as you see.

But now I'still don't know what to do with the car, make it a full option or a race look or something in between.

the cars lookimg good m8t altough i have to agree with you even though the kit is rare, IMO it dosn't look that good.

Yes there is plenty of E30 stuff over here.

Got these wheels of a wrecked E30, original Z1 wheels 16 inch ET 25.

Must say they fit perfect and drive very good and I find the wheels special and ok.

A buddy of mine just bought your car a few weeks back, he's very happy with it!
A question tough: there is a rattling sound coming from the rear left wheel or suspension when you drive over a bump...any idea what it could be?
Nice cab you have there!
Maybe we should try to organise an e30 meet around Brussels somewhere.
