Any engine bay or interior pics?

Another 325i Sport based Alpina C2 2.7 is what it is or looks to be.

Staggered Alpina's suit the sport really well! What exhaust system do you have looks really nice?

Thanks BSS325i. I'm not used to the forum. It's got Bubble interior. Although I was thinking of getting Vadars for the inside. What do you think in black ? I will try and get a pic to you this weekend. Also I will aim to get you over some Engine pics.

Yes, love the rims. Slightly wider on the back just to fit the owners taste :D

It's a Scorpion exhaust, it looks really smart and suits it. I didn't want to make it too over the top. It sounds even better mate.

Thanks

nice looking car. Not keen on vadars in E30's or the bubble seats tbh (if bubble is the style that comes with E30 convertible motorsports - each to his own).

2.7 must be fun - do you know roughly what the car is making bhp (obviously rolling roads differ etc but a rough estimate would be interesting).

looks nice in the pics mate, i would also go for bmw roundels and stick with an e30 interior....i'm sure if you wanna switch out teh bubble, if it is good nick, you will get a nice sport leather set and possibly some change...

if you have gone to all the effort to make it look like a genuine alpina, then go for it 100%, otherwise, with alpina boot and bonnet badges, it will just look like a sport with alpina stuff chucked onto it and actually make it less desireable/special.....ie: go for an alpina replica, not an alpina wannabe if you see what i mean...did you get the 2.7 conversion done yourself?

there's plenty of people on here who know the e30 alpina inside out, so feel free to post questions .....any more pics?

Takingg on board comments.

The Bubbles were out of my old car as the seats in this car when i bought it were in 'yuk condition' so i had to act fast. I Haven't really got round to buying any other seats as i've been busy with the conversion. the conversion i would think it puts out at least 220+ rough estimate.

Depends, hmmm thats a question. swap the bubble leather for the sport leather ? Vadars are out of the question, was thinking what colour but they wouldn't suit this coloured car. I'm on the lookout for some Alpina Genuine leathers with the stripe but they are very rare. I prefer them with the Alpina roundels as looks differentt.

No, conversion was done by a BMW specialistt, i have some pics but they need to be scanned in.

Cheers

with alpina boot badges, tinted rear lights, and german numberplates, you might as well put in the vaders if you like them....ignore my previous post and enjoy your car buddy!!

Pukar, I did not ask for any recommendations on how to modify my car. I was simply showing you the car.

No my friend, the car has been converted, If i wanted a C2.7 Alpina i would buy it. This is a E30 325i Sport 'CONVERTED' into a C2.7 and I stress not fully. If it was converted fully I would make it have proper seats etc.

what do you mean my proper seats ?

so its a 325i sport with a C22.7 engine and wheels ?

as for bubble leather, that was only in motorsport cabrios, and carbio seats are not right for an 2 door and the rears do no fit

Is the engine a genuine Alpina 2.7 engine or is it an eta based 2.7?

Yeah conversion, By proper seats, I mean C2.7 Alpina seats if I was doing it to a proper Alpina C2.7. But I'm not, I've only added the Rims and the engine. I'm doing everything to my taste making my car clean and good looking rather than skittish. You are right though Vadars do look ****, I'm happy with the car overall.

Bubble leather does fit as long as you change all the mounts on the seat and this was done by the guy who done the conversion. Lets let the pictures do the talking, i'll take a pic of them just for you :)

UK spec alpina seats were no different to OEM bmw sport seats. the optional recaros were available in an e30.

i've never seen a UK C2 with alpina striped cloth or leather, same with the B3's as they were called in germany. this was usually only ever seen on B6 and B6s's

the front cabrio seats bolt in but they have limited backrest adjustment and a few other minor differences. the back seats from a cabrio only fit with lots of aggravation. they are about 6" too narrow and you have to use cabrio rear quarter trims, as i said aggro

Thanks man.

After spending ££££'s on it then seeing people dishing out how to change the car vexes me.

Mosley Motorsport did the conversion. Also the Leather, I'm pretty sure they did modify the mounts, a little on the rear seats and something else. I will try get pics asap.

Nice motor, just a hint but dont have photos of the car and your garage/property. these photos could end up all over the web.

Tracker is the only real way of getting a car back if its not been strip or well hidden.

Ok. Thanks.

Any suggestions though, I had a Clifford on one of my previous Sports but it was so bad. It killed the battery and also was so sensitive. I know it needs to be sensitive to an extent but .... Any suggestions of Alarm and Tracker ?

Look up brianmoore as he has a tip on how to immobilize your car effectively

Also would be worth noting if you take photos of your car with a gps enabled device, it will probably contain a tag with info of where the photo was taken
