Just out of interest, what did you use to get all the underseal off from underneath?
It's something I have to do shortly and was just wondering if you had found an easier way of doing it!?
Cheers,
Jim.

I normally use some heat and a scraper or a knotted wire head on a grinder.

This car is for the Mrs, she insisted leaving it RHD until after I`d done all the work! However I have all the LHD parts so can convert it back later.

I use the knotted wire wheels on a grinder and used a gas torch on the bits you can`t get to afterwards. Best way to be honest is an acid dip or oven bake but I didn`t want to loose the sealant from the seams as we intend to keep the car for some time, still lost around 30kgs though!

also what i was wondering, it would really annoy me as the rest of the car follows the same lines/colours

There`s very little of the car that follows the same lines if you look closer! We mocked it up before it was fitted and it dosn`t look very nice if you keep the lines constant. You have to remember there is door numbers and sponsors decals etc that need to go on yet.

Anyway... a bit more of the build.
