E30 Zone

Since i sold my e36 and im running around in a 1.4 focus I thought i'd start a thread on my e30 which ive had 2 years, first off its an 87 325i, i bought it like so:







and then i decided to ruin it:














this is how it stands atm:







as you can see no lows yet but i have to wait untill im back from holiday for coilys and cage.
i have a few deliveries im waiting on today... will post up when they arrive.

deliveries are here, tyres are un usable so im going to have to get somemore before i properly fit them but the wheels are as new amd so are the harnesses, these are going to be my skid rims, the rota's on the rear 16x8 et10 and keskins on the front 16x7.5 et 30ish and i also got a bmw e36 steering rack spaced for an e30 for more of that lock

keskins have been collected, welded up my seat frames and fitted the drivers seat and steering wheel and boss got delivered:





i no its a cheapy wheel, but ive heard that there excellent...
next up my brand new cage...to be continued

Finally got some tyres, 205.45.16 falkens for the grids and 195.45.16 conti and nankang for the keskins, decided not too run stretch, will post pics when there fitted in the next few days:






picking these up with some 185 55 tyres tommorow:


My welder is still broken so bought another one for the time being, once i cba ill update more often
Also, last night I spend £488.00, will update when it arrives.

This turnt up around 2 weeks ago:

still havent fitted it or done the welding on the floor or painted the inside...all in good time.

Got my tyres fitted and fitted the wheels, baring in mind the obvious lows, im quite happy with the fitment, will see for sure when she eventually gets lowered:











chucked my steering wheel on now the seat frames are made to check positioning and chucked on a gearknob i got from here as the piston was terrible:



and stripped the rest of the sound deadening and covered it with paint thiners

next jobs are to get the welding done, paint the inside and fit the cage. then i can eventually start on the apperance of the car

excuse the terrible pics, i seem to have misplaced my camera!

Got some paint and hardener for the cage and have been in contact with RPM for some bits, exprct some suspension and chassis updates soon

I have a pair of part worn 205/45/16"s if you need any spares for skidding. There is slight damage to one of the beads which is why I haven't fitted them to road wheels, fine for a bit of drifting though. £30 just off junction 24

I only paid £30 for my rears on the mate, almost new falken ziex's, I only really run 205 45's and 195 45's cheers for the offer though,

No problem. Do you plan to do any events in it? I have a couple mates who drift E36's in the open drift championship.

Yes, Itll be at combe action day early next year and the ODC when im confident enough and Ill go from there. The car wont be on the road, itll be a competition car so I can fully abuse it

Nice project i like it! drift cars do look cool but there aren't many cars I don't like

I love those wheels on E30s, they look so right. A great project!

I have 2 metal bumpers that would suit this, they are blue but you could easily paint them. But I guess I am too far away from you aren't I

If you do want them £20 each would take them mate, they are solid just light blue colour

Not far from me if you're in Bath/Bris area What suspension are you going to run?

I've got an old 4.1 open shitter diff you can have to weld up if interested?

im in keynsham and brislington, Im ordering gaz/rpm units, all the chassis/suspension to come when i return from my holiday on the 4th october, how much would you want for the diff? I sold my chrome bumpers for plastic items to save on weight, Im after a pair to mod them to fit
