ecu chip from EAT . light m20 flywheel . 2.5" single pipe zorst , with my own cut and welded m52 manifolds . m30 air box .
i never thought that an m50 would give that much , although i have had it dynoed again a couple of months after that and it only did 208 but a bit more torque .

the strange thing is it was the same dyno . but my thermostat was lazy and not letting the engine get up to correct running temp so i am guessing it was a bit rich

Car looks much better in the flesh these photos are not doing it justice monkey. May be cook will do a photo shoot sometime he seems a good photographer.

This car is amazing, a real credit to its owner who does not cut corners and finishes jobs properly, it is like the engine was born in this car. Love the torque that the engine delivers spine tingling.

Think i may get lpg fitted to my IS but it seems to be eating a fair amount of oil any ideas? Hope the family's well. Oh an what are the 1998 + golf TDI's like as thinking of getting one for Angelina soon, i.e. parts prices, reliability known issues.

thanks Al . i was going to take some more pics of the car as i have just finished polishing it but i have just sat down & opened a beer so no photos today :) . i think a golf tdi would be a fine replacement for your 306 , is it a late mk3 or an early mk4 ?
