Thought I would post some pictures of one of the e30's I was bring up to scratch Some might remember me having it for sale but things changed and here it is looking stronger and better.

Bought this a few months ago wasn't sure what to do with it at first. But after a little push from the rest of the lads decided lets go down the alpina route anyway here's how it started. Car was a bog standard 318 which had covered over 200k but amazingly was in very good shape ONLY 1 previous owner which was a lady. But being a Non sunroof model made it a bit rarer than usual!

First on the list was to get rid of the nasty 4 pot m40 whcih went straight in the skip  I recently had a 325i sport come through which had drifted into a wall was a sorry looking turd felt sorry for the chap as it had cost him over 4k and he had only recently got it on the road was a proper old turd looked pretty clean but the damn thing was a proper rust bucket  . I used the full running gear along with rear axle with lsd. At the same time uprated the suspension again from the sport. It had took a day and I plugged it all up and it fired up. Was running smooth for the exhaust i used a standard system and mated a scorpion lemans rear box is a little load so will probably get replaced with a standard box at a later stage. (Haven't got a standard one is stock)

Once the running gear was sorted I moved onto the the bodywork what can i say it was in pretty good shape only panel that needed some attention was the bonnet as there was the usual stone chips on it at the same time painted the kit and front spoiler and decided to keep the rear spoiler unpainted. Once painted was carefully fitted was well pleased with the end result :).

Next on the list was the interior managed to sell the horrible comfort interior to a local chap and out came the sports black leather which again was taken from the sport I had now some may know the 4 pot e30's have a naff carpet fitted so decided to swap it with a good 6 pot carpet and then in went the interior also managed to fit a full 13 button obc kit, maplight mirror, rear blind and premium rear speakers and tweeter pods which I had stored away also switched the headlights with some genuine hella smoked ones i had along with front indicators never had smoked sides so put clear ones on. (still not sure if i should put the oem stuff back on). Also fitted a HLWW kit, Heated washer jets, heated mirrors, along with a genuine BMW top tint screen and rear pop outs (Stickers have been removed from pop outs :D )

Now the car was finished just needed to add the final touches got the rear spoiler fitted then swapped the steering wheel and gear knob with some alpina items last thing to go on was the staggered alpina's :D

Was well pleased with the end result.

Here are some pics the first is how the car looked and the rest well what can i say we have brought it to life as it was a really dull looking e30 before.

I would only change one thing and thats the black kidney grill .. Not sure about that .. other than that amazing transformation, and I think the alpina and tec2 cross breeding really works !

The kidney grill looks funny due to there being 3 different shades of black when you look at the front, paint the grills satin black and it will look cool.

Tech2 and alpina blend well.

Thanks for all the comments guys

On the to do list is change the exhaust when I get one in, Rear tyres need changing as they are the wrong profile and a few niggly bits.

Bushes etc were all done While everything was of the car.

As for the lights and grills they was only put on at the spur of the moment I usually stick to oem parts as I think they just look better. These were of a few breakers and I just wanted to see how they looked. Not sure if they should come off or stay on to be honest.

As for keeping it we will see how I get on as I cant refuse a good offer. If something else turns up It will be up for grabs but for now I'm enjoying it.

Stunning.

Seeing this makes me want to add the tech 2 bumpers and side pods to my cow ploughed turd.

+1 on the kidney grill. Chrome FTW :D

Reckon this just needs the alpina decal kit on the plough and should look about finished..

No shit!

Looks good though especially in gloss black. Rear spoiler needs to be body colour with a tech 2 kit though.

I also think it would look vastly better with chrome grills and OEM lights.
