mill auto supplies, there only in the south west, there pattern parts, about £8 each i believe

I see you have been shopping at Wills place
The rack needs to go in the rear holes mate, also get some decent paint on that steering link

ahh i was informed it had to go in the front holes, what a pain in the arse!

finished work today and pushed the car onto the drive to fit some new springs, also got round to moving my steering rack to the right place,
so, got the springs done car sat on its wheels again and then this...
think its time to invest in a sump guard

more pennies!

got the loom today from danthe, had abit of an issue but dans expert info over the phone sorted me out, fitted that and chucked everything in place quickly and she fired up first time

,
took everything off again to tidy it all up, gunna put it all together right tomorrow after fitting my new wiper motor and hopefully a decent radiator fan.
Just waiting on my manifolds to arive and ill be all sorted
ill put some more pics up tomorrow

im not sure, i got the springs and dampers in exchange for a bottle of JD so im not sure, probs be 60mm for that clearance, will change them when some crop up

nah they came with dampers, hubs, discs, calipers and top mounts

got them off a mate you see

Lol at the sump clearence
I know of an M50 that was running a hottuning 60mm kit that was horrendously low and amazing he never smashed the sump,loads of close shaves and scars though!

heres one that gives you a better idea, and yes that is a normal sized yoghurt pot and no it wont fit under the sump... even on its side

Check out the RPM guards, they clear M50 sumps and are a good price

yeah been thinking about them, but they sit about an inch lower, means ill have about an inch clearance haha

I don't get how people keep twatting their sumps.. Lack of care/awareness? My car was low as fook and didn't even graze it! Some big speed bumps round my way as well..
To be fair, I reckon I will be getting a sump guard this time round, but only as it will see more track use.. Don't want any accidents if I have an off..

well, a quick update, ive bought a sump gaurd by the way guys
got some cobra fibreglass bucket seats and some sparco harness's
quick pic...
and decided to give my wheels a spruce up, got one done today and all the centre caps

yeah those are bmw sparlking graphite, but you cant really tell in that pic, look nice know tho,
