Cheers for comments, I've not had an is lip before and was worried stone chips, speed bumps etc would leave obvious chips and scratches so in my head black was only option, hmmm will have to think about this. Front disk vents are black so I guess is have to colour code them as well?

I'd say leave it as it is, the lip and the skirts line up, so to speak, for a black band only interrupted by the wheels (mm I can smell two stroke exhaust from outside) and it looks ace as it is. Mims work on E30s.

MIMS 1900's look amazing on early and late E30's.. need a set for my new car, had them on an old car ... see profile pic!

Colour code the skirts and lip especially since the rear valance is already colour coded
Good to colour code it too and get more of that lovely colour on it!

Mim 1900s are one of my favorite wheels for an E30 too... must find myself a set of them to add to the collection!

The continuous black stripe is what I thought, but if the lip goes colour coded, so do the skirts.

Colour coded skirts look good on that car Mick. Really like the look of that. Will look into that next month.

Drop, not sure, just got the car and suspension is not the best make but I guess its about 40mm cause she'll touch the road when tipping on!

Tyres rubbed the arches when I put the mims on first but rolled the arches a wee bit and the 55 profiles now fit perfectly, imo.

The exhaust mounting rubber are pretty worn so I'll replace those and it'll be up into the correct position.

Cheers for comments.

I got two wardrobes from IKEA in this yesterday. One of the staff came out to help me pack the car. Young guy, said as we got everything in, "I'm really impressed with this car". He said someone tried to get a wardrobe in a mini the other day, fail!!

I was cuffed, drove home thinking, coupe was a fantastic car but that would never have been possible. It had a gangster slammed look going on as well.

Looking good. I'd leave the skirts black, but it's your car so do what you want and not what others say.

Looking forward to seeing this one soon......

Cheers guys, yeah I'm happy how it looks, just need to sort a fw rhings out first. Tank is leaking above half way, abs ain't working, head lining sagging, reverse lights not workin, its missing sump guard and loads of trim. All easy fixes but time is against me. Also need to fit chipped ecu, bbtb and 6 branch. Then ill be happier.
