Hey. Michael here, but call me Mike. Norwegian E30 fanatic to the heart, there's nothing like the moment in the morning when the sunlight appears after several dark months, then lightly caresses your skin and you realize: E30 + summer = Best of times. I've been restoring an 1984 model 320i for quite some time now, been taking it slow because I am in no hurry, plus I like to get things done 110%.
Cheers,
Mike
Here's some pictures I've posted on E30Tech among others.
Started out like this

It's now 100% free of rust, all the bushings have been replaced, the driveline has been renewed, I've bought some exterior/interior trim etc.
Ended up like this after a while

Sepang Bronze ready to go

The paint is now done, all that's missing is clear coat.

And there it was!

These are the copper tinted windows, have no picture of the front window that I can think of, but it's the same color only

Renewed! New Powerflex subframe bushings and some stiffer trailing arm bushings. All parts were sandblasted and re-painted.

Reserve wheel well removed, aluminum plate inserted.

This is how it turned out, before the paintjob.

Startec backlights where bought.

Some quick pics of what was done to the rear wheelhouses.

I drove 19 hours to pick up a complete set of M-tech 1, but turned out the seller was a scammer and a liar, so I almost knocked him down. This is a couple of minutes after getting the car home from the painters.

Here's a picture of my little brothers car, he bought it a couple of months ago. E30 1984 323i with 10x18, 8,5x10 wheels - LOOKS good in real life. He got a complete M-tech 1 set with the car, so he's going to fix it and use that. Must say I really look forward to the summer now.

Wheels arrived.

Got my package with the wiring connectors.

Also bought some fancy shit from George Graves, you're awesome man.

Toyo Proxes T1R getting mounted.

The electrical wiring for the power windows.

Just got these in the mail..

Yes, the rear wheels are mounted wrong, haha, that's what happens when you're in a hurry.

Rear seat and side panels in..

Door panels ready to be mounted..

Instrument cluster renewed

Door panels on.

Donee

M-tech 1 front valance, needs a bit of fixing before it's usable.

M-tech 1 motherland..

New steering wheel, Sport Evo 3.

Some progress. The M-tech 1 front is getting trashed or used on a different car, cause it's crappy and not fixable without SERIOUSE time investment.

I've been contacted by one Andrew Elliot, 101 Kensington Church Street, London who claims he has a warehouse with some M-tech 1 goodies, and he wants to sell me his front, so perhaps there is hope.
Cheers,
Mike
