Thought I woud start a little thread on this, some might remember it in all its bruvved up chavvy glory in the forsale thread at the back end of last year, I prized it out of the previous owners hands for a ridiculously small amount of money so I thought "what the hell" worst case scenario i'll frag the interior and send it to the weigh bridge....
Oh, I know the colour is abit... you know, but it shines up ok really and with a few little touches it should make a good dailly (I hope lol)
This is how I bought her (previous owners photos)
Got £50 for the wheels on the weigh bridge last weekend thats a big percentage off what I paid for it so things are looking good already!
Got it home and put some 14 bbs wheels I had on it, got rid of the stupid chrome washer jets and wiper blades and it looked 90% better ! The paintjob is still making it look a chavs dream but fook it I'll just buy a burberry hat
Not had much time to look at it really but I can usually pinch an hour here or there in between rennovating my house and work (and being on e30zone lol)
and discovered that the engine was put in by bosnians as a replacement and hardly had tight bolt! engine mounts, engine to gearbox bolts they were all loose!
Loose cables n all sorts
Then the radio wiring, think it was put in by Stevie wonder.... with a roll of sellotape
So thought fook it
This old M10 is on its way to China....
Had a poke about today and found that it wasn't as solid as first hoped but, I don't mind too much it can give me some practice with the mig. Well, I've welded my mates ironing board so I'll use this motor as a dress rehersal for my facelift galvaniser LOL
no prizes for spotting my fingers...
Glove box hinge mounting
i know its not a tech1 or nuffin but its still sik bruv
comments welcome, thanks for looking

Siiiiiiiik... Lol
I forgot you had this in the end, I was gonna have it if you didnt in the end. Nice thread so far, glad your trying to do something with it... What was the original colour? Before this... Lovely shade of blue. So, whats going back in that bay? And what you gonna do with the colour?

Well jim was just gonna see if the flinstones would help me get to and from work lol
Edit: Oh and it was silver! Think I will just leave the colour, too much time and effort with trims and the like, trying to keep costs down as much as possible!

I remember seeing this turd and being tempted myself as it had dropped down to about £300 in the ad, so god knows what you raped it for
Looking at that glovebox hinge, there's going to be some nasty stuff going on underneath the big grommet where the loom comes through from the fusebox. A miserable area to repair properly.
No spoiler on the bootlid would look a lot better

i wish the electrics on my sport were that good
If that was standard with a tech 1 bodykit, it wouldnt look half bad.

+1 on the boot spoiler... Loose that fella.
And maybe a black twin pin stripe down the edge just to take away that baby blue chavness...
I offered him a stupidly small amount which he was considering but Duke got there first so his offer was probably a bit higher than mine... I do tend to be extremely cheeky when it comes to pricing, but if you dont ask, you dont get.
You taking it Santa Pod Duke?

Yep I hate the spoiler, its gay. Only problem is I don't know the paint colour and even my bro who is a painter said he can't chromovision? it either so it will have to stay for now
Yeah it is pretty nasty round the fusebox area, i pulled alot of it away without any resistance so I know there is worse to come when the dog sees the rabbit so to speak. Its just gonna have to be stripped back for the access issue which is a royal pain in the arse
We'll see anyway Lee, worst case and you can all have it between you in either kettle or toaster format

the paint isn't that bad but those rimz need to join the m10 route along with the fake boot spoiler.
what engine is planned ?
if it's staying chav tinted rear windows will suit that colour.
i wish i had the space to build a chav slag with 200 bhp

Watch this space!
The wheels made me 50 notes last weekend, along with selling the radiator and the carb it basically stands me at fack all. WIN.

Hahaha cheers for the comments guys, I know that this is frowned upon in the general zone rule of thumb as its a bit lairy in colour, but I did find the following within the confines of this car:
£1.84 in change (including a pound coin)
A Natalie Imbruglia CD
A "Bling" CD
A Coat hanger (broken)
A Letter from the tax office to "a" previous owner, stating that they are investigating his self assessment tax return.
This car is 100% genuine chav. I will photgraph my findings with custard if I have any non-believers....
I still haven't found any contraband but there is still time.

I bet lucky bar steward!
@ Polsta, I weighed the wheels in and wish I hadn't now! Having said that one was mashed but I reckon 3 and a pina rep would have look sweet on this
You've got me thinking about the "NICE ONE BRUVVA" across the rear window though....
Would be funny

colour makes me feel sea sick ........ like the interior tho.
hmm little bit of chav in us all it seems
Would take spolier off and decal off back window. Glad to hear wheels are gone before god punished England for their existence.
if it was me id do a rattle tin spray job to fix the chavtastic blue. Took 3 of us 5 hours to do a Vento Gun metal black!
Looked grand ...... in the dark

Got a plan to make it a useable dailly, its going to be 6 cylinder but it may take a back seat soon as i have lots of other stuff on at work and home at the minute but we'll see when the light nights come along shortly

Pinched an hour and a half tonight to get the carpet out and have a butchers at what lurked underneath..... Wish I hadn’t but isn’t that all part of E30 ownership ?
I knew the passenger side bulk head was fubar and I was going to have a little go at welding it so am not too put off, but a bit of welding is soon to become ALOT of welding lol
Thought I was going to need the engine crane to lift this fecker out! It was that wet it weighed tonne! Must be about 30 litres of water in it!
And the aftermath of the water in the footwells...
Water still in the passenger footwell once it was out
The rear footwells are ok thank fook but got some work to do at the front. Notice how some moron has been jacking the car up in the wrong place causing me extra work, probably a mungral tyre fitter or pleb
One question though, is it easier for me to replace the entire footwell on the drivers side? I guess the accelerator pedal pivot is available on realoem, as that is well and truly shot.
Still on the plus, it doesn’t put me off but whether I can repair it to a decent standard is another thing as I have only ever welded an ironing board back together.... LOL
