Hi e30 luverz!!!
im new here and have just recently invested in an e30 320i auto, 1988!!!
It has been stored in a garage for the last 7 years! only 3 owners!!
Was bought as a none-runner, however, found the fault to be with a siezed fuel pump! Qickly took it out, connected it to battery, got it working, put it back in the tank and flushed petrol through it, and HEYY PRESTOOOO the german beast started first time!
There are a few things that need sorting out on it, but over time i plan to restore it to a stunner!
so wish me luck over the next few months!!!

quick update:
I have now replaced the exhaust system with all new gaskets and new rear silencer! sounds really nice
I have also flushed the coolant and topped it all up, so running perfect now!!!
things left to do:
overhaul all breaks
bosch 4 pin spark plugs
sports induction kit
full respray (hopefully towards the end of the year)
alloy wheels (alpinas or deepdish)
I shall keep this updated

nice looker buh, however the poor old 320's are thirsty enough with a manual...... might be worth thinking of converting!!!???

nah i wanted an auto, just to cruise around in!
this will be my now and again cruiser!
i drive a vw golf mk4 gt tdi on a daily basis, usually thru rush hour traffic and i hate clutching, so auto makes a nice change now and again!!!
but hopefully next year i want to add to my collection a 325i but make it into a track car!!!

Good Man!!!! Likewise. Autos rock, esp mated to that silky six, i gladly suffer the fuel bills to cruise in the six pot auto - its like silk!!!

Forget Bosch 4 pin spark plugs. NGK BPR6ES are what you need
