1994 318i Touring - Time to Sell :(

Well ive bought another project, this time a little more realistic.
Its a 318iA Touring with genuine 44k on the clock and 0 prevoius owners
i bought it from copart as a cat C write off.
Looking at it it needs:
Lower valance
Front wing
passanger door
passanger rear door.
front wishbone
possibly a new leg i need to inspect further.
rust wise its absolutly Mint.
rear arches are perfect, obviously they need a clean

the front "jacking pad" things in the footwells are perfect too
the leather is absolutly mint, and the mechanics have had no expense spared what so ever. its got a bmw service book fully stamped every year till 2010 by a bmw dealer. and recipts with mind boggling prices on them.
the only downsides so far besides the obvious is the nice people at co part have bent the rear valance slightly

and a slight niggle at the top of the sill where the accident has caught it. however its only small and will clean up and paint. there is also a kink on the sill at the other side caused by clumsy co part employees

however its minor and a set of se skirts will cover it up.
its nice as the headlining is mint, the ash tray has never had anything in and the fag lighter is new and unused.
even has dealer plates with matching keyring thats perfect
once finished its going to be my winter chariot to keep the sport off the road
anyway here are the pics from copart
safe from the scrap man
where its caught the sill slightly, not a major isuue.
plenty of history.
got tonns of mot certificates too
I belive behind this turd lurks a gem

Thanks Loyd, again thanks a million for helping me out, if it wasnt for you i wouldnt have been able to buy this.
mrjonchandler- copart is an online auction website that sells hundreds if not thousands of crash damaged vehicles each week. there is always e30s on there

if i ever went down the 24v route i would think this would be a perfect chariot to use
Being on the offenders register i wouldnt feel bad about ripping the engine out of a 1 owner car

think a manual conversion would be my first port of call given it will be a couple of year before i can insure a modified e30
mind you cook318is got a good quote when he turned 21 so it would only be a year away.
Just need to get some bodypanels sorted now. hopefully i can get some lazur blue panels local ish

Nice little project.
Cheyne BMW from Hammersmith right?
One of the techs at my work used to work there in the early '90's so he may have worked on the car. His name is Alp (cant remember is surname), have a look through you history book and invoices for his name.

Wow, was not expecting it to be that good. I would leave it original as its a low mile 1 owner car from a nice part of London. Auto will be nice in traffic.
