The wheels don't work with it, but the car is a very nice color and looks very tidy. I'd get a new set of plates for a couple of quid off ebay

my plans are to lower it a bit re trim the m tech 2 steering wheel get the missing cover for one of the wheels upgrade the speakers fit my alpine cd/mp3 player

i was thinking of an m tech 2 kit?
and leathers?
and one day do a 2.5 conversion? but dont know if i will because it has geuinie 97000 miles on the clock with full service history and plenty recipts and all the previous mot's
wont i loose value in the up coming years?

and i am not sure about the kit as i dont want it to rust under the kit

A little drop on the front and a nice AC Schnitzer front spoiler will have that car looking better

Looks a beautiful example, my fave E30 colour by a mile.

If it was mine I wouln't go near a tech 2 kit or any kit. Just a subtle drop and some nice BBS with decent boots. Nice presentable and original cars are getting in short supply and these cars will command a premium and already do.

Definitely go with 15" BBS and a bit of a drop.

Colour is great tho, especially with the chocolate hood.

Alpenis wheels really don’t work well on a chromie especially a gold chromie, I don’t like Alpenis wheels full stop but if they only work on facelift cars IMO.

Defiantly needs a drop if you’re keeping those wheels though

So it is :o:

Thought i could see chrome bumpers, i think the colour makes it look like an older model.

Either way your car would look better with a more classy wheel ur cabby looks quite classy and alpenis wheels look better on boy racer style E30's

By the way the gearknob is sorted and i have an m tech 2 wheel in there now

If you want to keep it OE why have you put alpenis wheels on??

Looks heaps better with the BBS much more classy

Keep the interior, I like it.
IMO a set of new B4 dampers all round and some 30mm drop Eibach springs and it will be all good.

At the end of the day, if you like the Alpina's, keep them on, i personally think the BBS do look alot better and i do agree with everyone and i do think you should lower it.

Nice ride bro, really wish I could get my hands on one of these drop tops on my side of the world!!! The cabriolets we have here are not completely open, the b-pillar and rear corner/side windows still remain up when you fold the top down........ :(

Yeah - go for a 30mm drop (front) - clear indicators or smoked (cue the abuse)

I like the unpainted spoiler something v.nice about that - goes well with the hood. v 80s.

What he said.

What have you have now is rare and special - what you plan for it will not only ruin any value but make it look like every other E30 out there.

Just get some nice 15" BBS on there with fresh 55 profile rubber, leather if you can't resist and original audio gear.

This will cost you way less than your 'plans' but make it even cooler than it is now.

I have such a set of wheels with brand new Conitinetals on for sale. winkeye

I nearly came a knocking for those BBS and Contis you have Rachid, but am staying faithful with the 16's for now.

Lovely car, but the Alpina ripoffs are awful. They ruin the car and make it look like £1000 worth - everyone knows they're cheap copies. I would lower the front only by 20-30mm. A pair of Eibach front springs will do it - rear ones are easy to fit so you can chop and change.

Seriously - the wheels are utterly naff....and very council. They've got to go!
