After a long search(well seemed long to me) I've found myself a nice solid Sport. I either wanted a minter or something solid I could make into one. Needs some paint and mechanics but nothing major i hope!
So now I'm officially a member of the 6pot massiv saying goodbye to 4pot rightness
Well chuffed!

Thanks guys. Its really isn't mint at all. Got some rusty bits and a noisy as hell diff. But all will be sorted soon!
Jimbob: Thats my dads 325 with an is lip. Don't let him here you accusing him of having a 4 pot!
I picked it up for Ԛ£2740. Asking price was 3 but needs some work as said.Got a stack of history which is fun to read
Chris: This isn't the one from coventry. That was a lovely car but price wasn't negotiable so had to leave it.
Thanks for your comments.
Good night!

looking nice and clean, and unmolested-looks a great base car for you to build a "dream e30" from!!!
good luck and may it bring you hours of fun (changing the diff

)

This sucks. Buy car then send her straight off to the garage without being driven "properly". Ah well!
Getting that noisy diff sorted, pulls left, inspection 2, cambelt sorted (was too tight) and a few other bits.
It'll be like picking up another new car

Adam, are you Nick325's (Tiff) son?
If so. give the old chap my regards, was nattering with him at Ferrybridge on Sunday, he said you had been to see a few 325's but that there had been some real horrors out there.

Nice car...looks nice and original.
Cars always seem to drive better after a good going over and a proper Inspection II service. Bet you can't wait.

So the news from the garage is in!
The car needs:
A bloody good service
Sump gasket (pissing oil)
Head Gasket (leaky, but we'll leave that until a fancy cam is bought)
Wheel bearing
Sub-frame bushes
So the diff isn't at fault. Knackered bushes are transmitting mucho noise into the cabin. Not too bad I guess!
Sump gasket is getting done now and the rest in a week or two.

Car is back from the garage proper.
List of jobs...
Sump gasket
Engine mount
Cam oil seal and ring
Cambelt and tensioner
Subframe bushes
NSR Wheel bearing
Inspection II
All for the princely sum of Ԛ£782.12
He picked up a few things like needing new shockers some time...(hello Mr Spax

) and a few other niggles.
Feels like a different car so I'll be needing more pointless driving to get aquainted!
Roll on Donny
