So i bought this 318is about a year ago now, so far ive,
de-stickered it
de-spoilered it
de-sideskirted it
de-eyebrowed it
de chromed the wheels on it
de- black kidney grilled it
de-mudflapped it

and when ive got some money i might actually stop taking things off and put something on or in it winkeye

sig pic is pretty much how it looked the day i got it although it did have some stripes and writing on it too. the first pic shows the wheels as they were originally.

let me know what you think to my changes cheers.

The de-tatting definitely improves the overall appearance. Personally, I prefer the wheels as they were originally.

to be honest mate they were in a right state the pic doesnt really show off how bad they were, it was mainly done to tidy them up a bit until i can afford some borbet bs.............................................one day :D

I quite like the wheels actually.

Could do with being one size bigger in diameter though

i think black mirrors & dare I say a standard splitter?

I'm with ranchero on the wheels, but then I've never been a fan of mims - plus dished wheels need sideskirts imo - I'm not very helpfull am I?!!

Very clean car & does look good

lol, some mixed opinions appearing.

barx325i...that is the standard splitter isnt it? i fancied painting the mirror bases black maybe not the whole mirror though.

Looks a standard clean motor 8) , would look good with a Mtech 2 bodykit if you are fan of that.

No thanks, it was just covering up an otherwise good looking "is".

your gold wheels need to come off.

Yeah i'm with FMH, i think it looked good to start with. Sorry dude!

Very clean and tidy IS! Much more so than mine! :P

Roll on with the money spending! I'm in pretty much the same situation as you, lack of money and need to do stuff to the car!!!

Looks good, I don't like spoilers either. However I would put some black skirts and a black iS lip on!

mmmmm interesting...... never thought of that, i know what you mean about the lip as it does stand out a bit without the skirts on, however my train of thought is if them german boffs can design a car this good looking (E30s in general) then who am i to change it,

apart that is from some borbet bs.................... :wan:
