Hi, i'd like to introduced my e30 320iA mtech2.still original, but really nice black paint with mtech 2 bodykit (original, bought 2years after was new, original receipt), el.mirros&front windows, check, no rust. Black leather seats in good condition and my wheels are BBS RM 6.5x15R et33 with 195/50 all round. centers are in diamond black and polish lips (because i used a lot of laquier, the shine is bad,but stil look nice)
its couple thing what already waiting for me Twisted Evil 1st and biggest complete engine and manual gearbox. m20b25 with 115k...then is missing mtech2 spoiler...original but will need new paint, front black hella, rear axle with brake discs from 325i and finally new wheels... BBS RC090 split rims 8' 17' et20 with tyres 205/40 front and 225/45 rear and that will be everything for now...i think its enough. Wink actually is not...i need LSD

You should do it like i did to a set i have for sale ,,,,,
VOILA,,,,,,,,,
The center is NOGARO grey colorcode 243
------------------------------------------------------------
here is another set i restored ,, last year
shown here on E36 and E34
and just to show a little more .. here is my cabrio with 8 front and 9 rear

THESE looks just like mine hahaha
This , center looks like the set i had under my M5,, the color is similair to E39 M5 oem wheels ,, shadow-chrome, but because of the many spoke system it really not shows the color,,
the tape,, hehe,, all 7 mm aftermarket bolts are not tight fit to the oem 8.x mm hole on the BBS RC wheels but oem BBS nut are also 7mm but the chest of the bolt is bigger ,, shown here
thats why i had a LATHE to made these thin nylon sleeves,, but i didnt had more of them so i used el-isolation tape,, works as well an 30 times cheaper
and the glue,, loctite is a MUST,, do not even think not using it,

i'm thinking, that yours wheels are little bit lighter then i showed...but maybe u right

anyway thanks for the tape trick, but maybe i will use old one and paint them too

and where to use the glue??on the end of bolt or everywhere??how hard after is to take nuts off??

You put a small drop of the glue on the bolt .. where the nut will sit when tightened ,,

Rav335uk wrote:No centrecaps then for the wheels?
maybe, but would have to cut the backside of them as center of wheel is now different (thicker) and use sealer to put them on. so now just BBS emblems

Dare I give a different opinion? I vote no shadowline... The chrome looks good with those wheels and that black paint.

Its been while since i post here, so here is "small update" on my e30
>m20b27 stroker with Schrick camshaft 284/272 with power pulley(needs to do proper timing on dyno) and chip from Ant at A-tech. Also get BBTB, but thanks to delivery is fooked

so i got now only 325TB, but will go for BBTB for sure
>nice and clean m20 sump as the one on engine got a few scratches from speed dumps
>hottuning manifold, but staying with original for now, as wouldn't fit to my 2pc exhaust system
>LSD 3.64 with new oil Gulf Competition
>325i gearbox also with new oil and bearing
>51mm struts with B6 shorter and thicker dampers/55mm shorter springs for front and B6 dampers/20mm for rear
>get also rear discs subframe as my are drums, but still need few things to finish it as new polybushes, discs and pads, plus all cables so if someone could help, let me know
>then there is few small part for interior and exterior as original side repeaters and front indicators, chrome grill, new-ish Sony MEX BT2500, gear and handbrake leather gaiter, leather handbrake and m-tech mirror with lights
>and almost forgot, not the biggest ones, but ones make me happy BBS center caps

as my 5style are custom to fit e30 4stud, i had modified them to fit on wheels..will need new BBS badges as these are a bit old
Today i should go to change suspension, but its raining again and my garage is park place on street so hopefully tomorrow

Tomorrow also should get all the liquids witch i need from oilman, so will be ready for swap engines...anybody know somebody around Belfast area?? Get quoted here in Bangor for 400quid witch is a lot i guess as its simply take old engine with gearbox away and put new it...am i right?
And that is for now as my pockets are poor right now, but new exhaust and tyres will follow soon
any opinion welcome

nice but its severly in need of lowering looks like a monster truck

ha but nice project keep it up

Re:

front is now lowered and rear waiting for lower spring as 20mm was pretty much same as my old one.
And hey my old engine is nearly ready to go...just disconnect prop with gearbox and gearbox with linkage and can go and make a space for new one
