Both cars are now lowered, white one has Alpina Replicas (16") and have moved the 15" Basketweaves onto the Grey 320i.

Look like a 16" version of the BK rep. Did BK ever do 16's?

Well.. its been a few years since posting, I sold the above cars about 2 years ago, however I had the urge to get another E30, there's just something about them. (Have just sold my E39 528i).
This is my current E30, owned for 3 weeks now, it is a South African assembled car.
It seems that this model came stock with the Sport Leather Seats, Tech 1 Wheel, 14" Weaves and as you can see its a slush box model.
It seems to go well for an automatic, I suspect the motor is in better condition then the last 325i I owned.
Thats Lovely, A/C, Big Tool Kit, South African built, what a nice car, is there alot of E30s in NZ?

Thanks, yeah there is still plenty around, but its getting hard to find a tidy one for a good price.
The 2dr Tech2 325i's in good condition with manual gearbox are getting expensive here, ie $12000, which is why I only have a 4dr automatic one, however for $500 I can source all the parts for a manual conversion.

Time for an update.
The car has now been converted to manual, using parts from a 2dr Tech 1 Coupe that was rusted out.
So gone is that horrible auto shifter and now it looks like it should.
I also gave the car a much needed valve adjustment and now it sounds like:
Its not perfect, but its improved.
A month ago or so I ordered a Miller Maf conversion, I installed this last weekend, however it causes the car to buck a little down low and some hesitation issues.
This was a WOT run with the MAF Conversion, it might seem ok on the video, but I could feel that it wasn't revving out as smoothly as it did standard, ie flat spots.
As a Temp thing I only have the POD filter on the MAF Sensor, however I have just ordered some parts to enable me to connect it up to the factory airbox, which seems bigger then most, it seems the south african E30 325's have a bigger one, I'll add a pic of it after.
I have ordered a new TPS Sensor, intake boot and some other parts, as I suspect I probably have vacuum leaks and a faulty TPS.
I have also ordered a B12 Pro-Kit Suspension (Joint effort between Eibach and Bilstein)
I went with this as I wanted the car to retain a level of Comfort while at the same time improve the handling.
They claim its tested at Nurburgring and fine tuned etc.
It was on Special for $50, which probably isn't that cheap, considering it only came with 1 Clay Bar, but it did the job.
I could have done a better job with the black bits and the wheels, but the main focus was on the paint.
Took about 3 Hours, which isn't that bad.

Its been a long time since I updated this.
Not much has happened, the car now has some Hartge 15" Wheels.
Sadly I have to use a proxy server to access E30zone now days and get the message " You have attempted to access this site with an invalid IP.
