Yes ther is a scab by that rear glass, i am sure it is not inner corrosion but i need to take the whole glass fitting out to be sure, summer job at the moment i keep that bit oiled.

Its a lovely car! Make sure your wheelarches are spotlessly clean with no. and I mean nil, muud and dirt to stop that rot! Keep it as it is, it's a survivor!

I will upload some more pictures tomorrow, there is some bodywork to be done but at the moment it is dry stored and oiled. The wife keeps asking "when am i going to get to use it" she has a 89 525 at the moment, so both in use would be greedy.

have you ever seen the double coach lines they fitted i used to really like them there is a picture of them on a e30 in the front of the haynes manual i will try and find the pics i used to have of them

Really sweet looking chrmie you have there,
I have a Tech 1 Sport that had a spot of rust under the rear window, my friendly welder blokey was able to fix it in no time

Thaks, that bit by the rear window is still firm to press which make me think the damp somehow got under the primer and not inside, i hope it is not too serious but i will not know until the glass has been removed.
