Had it some while now after buying it off Piston Heads (also advetised on here some while ago now) been busy selling other cars to make way for her, so finally after sorting out a little bit of welding that needed to be done, gave her a scrub up and took some photos...
Here's the seats and few bits that came with the car as an extra sweetner...
Damage to driver seat...
All fixed and ready to go, courtesy of a mate of mine for £100 (new panels) picking it up this weekend.
Also got these for the interior...Bit cheesy but I like em'
It's going in for a stainless steel exhaust soon as I can find someone good enough and doesn't want the entire Earth for doing it, then I'm gonna have the tappets done, then start thinking about suspension, ARB's, strut braces etc
Hope you like...
Tom.

Thanks guys, she is really clean because she was dry stored for about 10 years, even had the old style V5 etc with it and found a ten year old Mars bar in the boot when I gave it a clean lol.
The M badges...I quite like them actually, trying to find out a little about the US side bumper indicators so I can the fronts as running lights, need some part numbers or something to help me out.
Just got hold of some 4x100 --> 5x120 (20mm) PCD adaptors so should make the wheel search a bit more interesting as well...

Apparently these will destroy the handling.

But it may be the key to the wheels i want. And thats all that matters
Besides, its only a 316

i have had spacers on most of my cars and to be honest does not really effect the handling.
Unless your gonna be tracking it and beating some times, you wont notice it much on daily use.
If anything a wider track should improve handling?

H&R do 20mm ones, they are not listed under BMW.
you need to look at the VW ones, ie. golf mk2. as VW 4 studs run the same centre bore and stud pattern as the E30.
the H&R part no for 20mm ones is 40275571 as far as i know.
conceptwheels.be (as mentioned above) also do 4x100 to 5x120

or they will help correct the offset of the 5x120 1/3 series or aftermarket options that are being put on.
but if low offset 5/6/7 series 5x120 wheels are planning to be put on you would be dead right....would be shocking, and have fitment probs

It doesn't affect the handling to much degree at all, it changes as the track is widened, mostly the handling being affected is people using the adaptors as the excuse to fit 9"+ wheels...Which will obviously effect the handling.
Adaptors were from Concept-wheels.be originally but I got them from a forum member of Edition, still pricey though, hopefully worth it.
But having second thoughts now on the wheel front, so the adaptors may be for sale to finance a wheel refurb...

Cheers man, howz that lovely carbon intake treating you on yours?
Still technically got a dub, a Corrado 1.8t, it's still up on axle stands in the garage having it's Syncro conversion done - about 90% done. The Sport is my everyday car and treating me very well, love it.

great fella, just it spends more time with other people than with me! Lol it's currently with
mr howell getting a winter makeover as I wasn't happy with a few tiny spots of rust coming through. Then one thing leads to another......
syncro in the corrado sounds intriging. Haldex or or old school viscous coupling. Eithe way that's some conversion fella!
Look forward to more updates on the sport fella.

Well a few updates, nothing major because the next phase will be all in one go: Gaz coilovers, Eibach ARB's and strutbraces, so a small update but one that means a lot, because the interior is finally sorted:
Out with the old:
In with the new and their new M-Tech seat pins:
Really impressed with the repair the guy from Kyrch trimming did, especially if you scroll back up and see the condition it was in before - all for under 100 smackers, so can't say fairer than that...
There is a slight problem with the recline and rise adjustment on the seat, which means that I'm gonna have to cannabalise the old front seat for parts or repair the frame if that's what's out of alignment.
In other news, it went for it it's rear axle bushes and nearside rear wheel bearing today, so should be able to pick it up later on today.

Ohhh Mr Howell, very scene lol...
Sounds good though dude, noticed as well that your selling up your rims, what could you be replacing them with? And as for the Corrado it's old skool viscous coupling as it's only running 285bhp for the moment, but once all the fab is done then could well make the switch over to Haldex and bung a gert great turbo on their, we'll see though lol.

Cheers dudes and cheers all for the comments, gonna have a stab at taking the seats fully apart tonight and seeing what the issue is with the recline and raise

Might not be the tappets - noisy injectors most likely problem - trader cleaning them with a discount for zoners just now.
Nice car BTW

thats wicked dude, the impuls will look sweet with a nice drop, whats the sizes on them? you will be the first to stick a set of impuls on a e30...will look ace i reckon...set the trend and the others will follow
business is good a bit slow though...got around 17 sets lying at home which i need to shift...ive made a few contacts in germany so im getting some sexy rims in, but it doesnt help studying at nottingham and the wheels being in london. Need to start a website or something lol
