E30 Zone

Since it has been a lovely day i decided to give the e30 some loving, its been left pretty much as is since the pod coverd in rubber etc First proper wash/wax/detail since the beginning of the summer too

Spent over an Hour cleaning the wheels, Used some wonder wheels then sealed it with some halfrauds cheap wheel wax ive had for ages

Meguires Hot tyre shine on tyres.

some Zymol Wax on bodywork (excellent stuff, smells nice too)

BMW glass cleaner on windows

Auto glym vynal and plastic cleaner

and plenty of microfibre cloths.

Next job is to wire the rest of the fog lights up and respray whole front valance and IS lip.

I did mine last week,but it rained here last night and now it looks horrible again.God knows what was in the rain,but it's left a sandy/blotchy residue all over my baby

ive had that before, leaves grey stains and what not

Thanks, BBS were all refurbed 9-10 month ago, its just rarely there that clean. Give it a few year and get a 325i

What are you going to do about door cards?

I have a good pair of grey vinyl quater panels if needed.

Door cards are behind in the background, bought some today of steve

Looks a nice old bus that mucka.

Tip for the photography, take pics later in the day when the light is not so bright

or take pics directly into the light

They do get sticky without use. If you can get your hand in to grip the metal part of the mechanism you ought to be able to pull it down without buggering the foam, then remove it and get the WD40 out on the joints.

Bloody bargain at £150 - I hate you, bloody nice car and it probably owes you less than its value!

thanks will give that a go and see if i can get it to fit

got interior fitted today but need a drivers door card as the one i got is completly warped and doesnt even fit, the top just sticks right out, wont bend back either

Ive spend over 2k easily on the car, its a keeper though. I might even dye the leather black yet, there is a zoner in Darlington who has a leather re colour spray kit.

Still want to see some pics Alex, don't think ive seen white and grey combo before!

the door cards and seats need a bloody good scrub though to get to my standards

Wow those seats are in great condition, would it not be a shame to dye them?
