E30 M3 Rotrex S/C, Finally done!!!

Hi Guys,

Love this forum, so many stunning rides.

I have been into e30's for the last 10 years. My latest creation, e30 m3, bought with original 80k, full history.

Swapped the s14 lump to a 3.0 forged m3 engine. Added the biggest rotrex c38 charger, auqamist water injection, custom hard pipe kit, coilovers, adjustable camber top mounts etc..

Opinions and thoughts welcome, running circa 500+bhp

Here you go chaps.

I know its hard to beleive but a lp560 only passed me at 140mph! obviously on a track.

The power is just endless, feels a bit too smooth at times, but you realise how quick your going when you look at the speedo. :D

Fantastic, looks great on those rims. Bet it goes rather well too!

As others have said, can you get some more pictures and maybe a cheeky video/soundclip up?

Yes Dave from Fritz bits built it from scratch for me.

The previous owner had started the project but did not even get half way and blew the previous engine. I bought it thinking it just needed a few add ons like charger and rebuild etc... How wrong i was!

Anyway, lots of money later this is how looks now.

Big shout to Random Dave!!!

shouldnt it be more flow efficient and not 90 degree right angles? will the end cylinders be getting equal flow to them as the middle?

its preasurised, I dont think it matters that much, Maybe he has done it this way for space. Dont look like there is much room in there.

Hi Fuzzy,

Room was a big issue, espcially all the hard piping hence the plenum design.

To be honest i am not too happy with it, and may get someone to design a newer one and remap the car again.

yep,

May sell.

I have 325 sport, was thinking of going m50 turbo, may take up Gunni on his engine conversion, and obviously free up some cash.

It wont be sold unless its a decent offer, for now its sitting in my garage :D

Why sell after all that work. If that was mine, I would be spanking it around 24/7.

Hi Dave,

Sorry been busy with work, only racked up about 500 miles so far if that!

I feel like keeping it, coz its so bloody quick and the bonus of being a e30!

I ordered the plates by accident, lol.

The car handles very well to be honest, i dont push it much round the corners as i have expensive wheels and stretched tyres.

I think having a heavy front end is not too much of a issue as long as you have the correct setup and camber.

I have coilovers allround, and eibach camber adjustment top mounts.
