318i Project - W.I.P UPDATED new steering wheel

Been on here for a while now thought i would make up a Project thread, i will post all updates and latest pics here.

Had my E30 for a couple of months now, had to get the lower 318i model as i could not get the insurance for the higher models at a sensible price,
its a 318i lux in white, has 122k on the clock but has loads of reciepts for work done recently. Its running fine and i must say im very happy with it, although there is bodywork to be done and could do with some new bumpers and a better interior. Hopefully i will be able to bring it up to a good standard.

1st of all i removed and changed the horrible red gear knob that was on there and changed it for a silver one i had from a previous car till i get a new 1, then i removed some stupid england stickers from the boot that the previous owner had put on.

Last night i went over to croydon to pick up a DTM style Scorpion full stainless sytem from miniblob, few pics

Im happy with the outcome of the exhast sounds good and looks good too, a big improvement on the old one.

next updates soon,im new to the E30 scene so any comments and advice welcome

well unfortunately my engine has packed up and ive been told its the head gasket so i am now goin to have to replace it, although im gutted its happened in a way this will be good for me as i can upgrade to a 325i conversion,
spoke to Spadge and been quoted for doing the conversion so hoping to get up to see him and have this done in around 2 months.

will give updates when i get to have the work started

evening all, small update on my 318i

havnt done much as funds are low due to saving for new engine so not much done so far.
Bought a Momo steering wheel from M4xos to replace the large original one, and some clear front indicators from Simon to replace the broken orange ones i had.
both great guys to deal with.

hoping to have enough to get it fixed soon, then i can get started fixing it up

Next to be done is the engine repacement, until then i wont be doing anything else but once i have the engine sorted out the next thing on the list is the interior. new gear knob and gaiters and maybe leather or checked cloth

na sorry dude, there oppersite the BP garage next door the to the ambulance place, follow that little road down to the end and ur there
